Castle Creations introduction of the Mamba Monster was a break-through moment for R/C modelers wanting to experience what seemed to be unobtainable. The current version we call Mamba Monster 2. The ESC is capable of 2S LiPo to a maximum of 6S LiPo and is now waterproof (not intended for operation while submerged in liquid). This upgrade allows users to run their vehicles through the morning dew, down the muddy road, across the soggy snow or just about anywhere else you'd be interested in running a 1/8th scale RC buggy or truck. We've updated the case, allowing users easy access to fan changes, if necessary (removing the fan is required when driving in wet conditions, it is not waterproof). As well, solder posts now permit users to change battery wire length and direction as needed. The Mamba Monster 2 offers industry-leading software functions and USB programming capability via Castle Link USB adapter (free with included coupon), allowing users to tune and tweak all their favorite settings such as brake and throttle curves, throttle response, drag brake and many other parameters that add up to an incredible RC driving experience. The Mamba Monster packs a punch that can't be duplicated, and can be purchased alone, or in combination with one of our highly efficient 1512 or 1515 series motors. They feature high quality oversized bearings, sintered Neodymium magnets, superior electromagnetic design, and rigorous quality control resulting in a Monster motor we can put our name on.
