Living the Word Companion Journal

My daily time with the Lord has been so much more fruitful thanks to this beautiful and insightful bible/journal set. It's been a wonderful addition to my prayer life and faith journey. The articles speak to my heart as if God knew I would read them and it would be read just at the moment I needed to hear that, the profiles of the biblical women shed new light on my understanding of their decisions and actions and bring them into a light that is relatable to today, and the quotes highlighted throughout are deep and inspiring. If you are on the fence about getting the bible and/or the journal, I would encourage you to get both. They work beautifully together. If you can only get one, then get the bible. You won't regret it.

This is the perfect companion to the Living The Word bible. The prompts in this journal help me stay intentional as I read my bible. It helps me stop and reflect. The cover is absolutely beautiful and the journaling pages are thick and great quality.

This journal has, quite frankly, blown me out of the water. First, it is absolutely beautiful. It's weighty and solid and the most gorgeous color of deep purple. The pages are thick and of a nice quality. The journal has a reading log up front (like a Table of Contents in a bullet-journal). It has a place for prayer intentions in the back. Each journal page has a place for the date, the day's Scripture Passage, a section for observations, journaling and prayer. It is not only a lovely companion, but a much-needed tool in my walk with Jesus. The Living the Word Companion Journal is an exquisite spiritual gem. The journal is a wonderful complement to the Living the Word Catholic Women's Bible. Visually captivating and spiritually enriching, it is a terrific resource for delving deeper into Scripture. It is also a wonderful keepsake which the reader can easily make her own.

I love the Bible that goes with this journal. I have done the Bible in A Year from Assecion press and used their Bible notebooks. (I own several Catholic Bibles including The Great Bible Adventure and the Living the Word Catholic Women's Bible). I think this is the best Journal yet. It's very well made and the layout is very good. I love it so much and know that I will use it well.
