Ideal for wood
Delivery very quic. It's hard to find small pots of decent quality paint, so I was pleased with this purchase

Rust Oleum - one of the Best
We paint garden ornaments, planter baskets, cement based items and most things in between. Rust Oleum for me is the best and most consistent of ALL paints. It covers well, nice in Satin, can use as base coat or top coat and yes, takes a bit longer to dry. For the coverage it is good economy. Any same product colours like grey are similarly excellent which is the only word to do justice. I do buy brake calliper paint for many colours which is very economical, high quality and well suited to many surfaces especially metal of course. This the combination plus odd little tins of Revill/Humbrol work extremely well.

Love it!
I had high hopes for this paint as I’ve many Rust Oleum products in the past. I wasn’t disappointed. It’s not as thick as their other paints, but bare with it. The first coat gives it a lovely distressed look but after two coats I love my revamped mirror! I’m now looking at other objects thinking “I bet that would look great silver!!” Someone best take this paint brush off me sharpish ;).

Not as metallic as others
I have used many metallic paints and this is good but it is not the best. It gives you a light gold effect as opposed a more antique deep gold which I prefer. I have used it and will use the can but would not buy again.

More of a rose gold
This was ok but it was more rose gold than gold and it dripped a lot I personally won’t be buying this again but I didn’t hate it

Horrible product
I used other paints from other brands and I am fool sometimes to buy rustoleum hoping that another product from this brand will be better from the previous one bought from them: I’m disappointed every time, so I’m writing this review to remind myself not to buy their products anymore. It is difficult to have a smooth surface, it dents so so easily that I need to retouch a lot of corners already. Little Greene is the one I used before and a much more worn furniture remained in perfect condition after lot of hits and stress.

Great black paint but does need a few coats
Plenty in the pot, I only used a quarter to paint 6 frames that needed 5 coats. I left the recommended 2 hours between each coat too.Tip: due to needing quite a few coats I wrapped my brush in cling film to keep it from drying out and to save re washing it all the time. Good finish , really pleased
