These little straighteners were a lifesaver! I have thick frizzy hair and a full fringe, not the best combo for camping!They plugged into the car and heated up in about 3 minutes. By no stretch if the imagination are they as good as ghd’s and I wouldn’t want to attempt to straighten my whole head but they did the job on my fringe.

I’ve been on the hunt for some decent travelling straighteners as we are to Glastonbury in June and we’ve got a campervan for the first time so I’m going all out on the luxury. I’ve got very fine but wavy hair which doesn’t really go properly curly but goes fluffy in humidity. Very annoying. I’ve tried battery powered straighteners but they only got warm at best and the battery ran out so quickly. These took a good 5 minutes to get to a decent heat but the slightly larger plates make them very robust and I’m really impressed for the price and am thrilled that I won’t have to look like Hagrid!! I think on thicker hair they might not be great but I’m very happy with them! Next to find a hair dryer!

I have thick long hair that is prone to a slight wave and being fluffy. I use ghds at home. These 12v straighteners are fantastic! They take longer to straighten my hair (approx 15 minutes) than my usual ones but was well worth it. My hair stayed straight all day long and wasn't too bad the next day either. I would very highly recommend these and the price is definitely well worth it for the quality! Amazing product, I'm extremely pleased with these fabulous straighteners!

Awful product! Don't work at all.I bought these as I had a wedding to attend and we were staying in our campervan. Waited over 5 minutes (with LED light on as promised so know they were trying to work) and they didn't heat up even a little. Left me totally frustrated and unable to get ready properly for the wedding.Gutted as thought these were a god send as we go away in the van a lot!Don't recommend buying, better off buying gas powered ones or looking elsewhere

I'm going on a canal camp soon and wanted something that I could plug into my car to straighten my frizzy, kinky hair (always guaranteed to kink up at the slightest whiff of humidity or the tiniest drop of rain!!!). I wasn't sure about these at all mainly because of the mega cheap price but I was really impressed by the reviews, the content of which I really thought a lot about and taking into consideration what I was really looking for. For those with hair like mine or worse, as per other reviews, these ARE NOT GHDs and you will not get poker straight, salon-looking hair as these are not designed for that - if they were, then they'd be in-car GHDs!!!! If, however, you already have straight-ish hair but you go off your head at the slightest kink in any strand of hair, then these will be perfect for you.However, I only wanted them to straighten the fringe, the top later of my hair and the ends (I wasn't bothered if the hair underneath would be a bit kinky, if not frizzy). For me and with my type of hair, they did that exactly, so I got what I wanted. I was amazed by how quick they did heat up, which took a couple of minutes (Note: I said a couple of minutes, NOT TEN SECONDS...for those with really little time to get ready or those impatient ladies out there!!!)Therefore, I would highly recommend them.

My wife used these on a camping holiday,she said that they are hardly as hot as her straighteners at home, which means it took her quite a bit longer to fix her hair than it normally would have, on the upside they are easy to travel around with.

Ideal for on the move if you’re just wanting to tidy up your hair. Ideal for fringes and bed hair. Don’t expect them to work miracles but ideal for camping and for the price you can’t go wrong.

These are no GHD but have been using for over 2 years camping and in a narrowboat running through 12v cigarette socket.They are great for getting kinks out and straightening to a style. I only have fine short hair so the product is adequate for me but my partner who has thick hair it wasn't really suitable but she used it on her fringe. There were occasions where we spent ages parting her hair into small amounts and straightening but was very time consuming.I would def recommend these for off grid camping. Would have liked it if they came with a case but they aren't exactly expensive.

The straightener isn't that good for my hair, but it works ok if you have already used a good straightener and just need to touch your hair up on the run. Otherwise I don't recommend it as your first choice straightener.

Marche tres bien faut jusqu'à accéléré pour qu'il chauffe ... Après moi cest pour les vacances donc pas utile tout les jours

Wird nicht so mega heiß und braucht relativ lang zum Aufheizen. Erfüllt allerdings seinen Zweck für unterwegs oder beim Camping.

Mejor de lo que esperaba. No se puede comparar con las planchas tradicionales, por supuesto, pero yo que solo me hago flequillo y puntas, hace el apaño perfecto

Je m'en sert lorsque je fais du camping !! il est très pratique. il chauffe rapidement.Correct pour le prix. :)
