Wow, just Wow!
I love this series, Laurel & Huck make a great pair. The crime fighting unit is superb, what an interesting group of characters make up their respective offices. Add a really nutty half sister, a weird so-called father and you have it all. Cannot wait for book four.

Written with panache and depth that draws the reader in
I loved being back in this world with Laurel who is slowly starting to unbend and understand there's more to life than books and learning. Don't get me wrong she does feel love for her family but struggles to fully appreciate sometimes what is patently obvious to most. When a body is discovered its just the first and yet again this small community is gripped by fear as a serial killer walks amongst them. Laurel knows her half sister is never just an innocent bystander but can she really be connected to these horrific killings ?This series is so well written that it's a joy to sit down and drop into this landscape of both beauty and murder. I particularly liked that the supporting characters around Lauren are becoming more fleshed out with each book. Yes its bonkers that so many killers operate in the same area but each book is written with panache and a depth that simply draws the reader in.This voluntary take is of a copy I requested from Netgalley and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair

Another thrilling instalment from FBI Agent Laurel Snow
I absolutely love Laurel Snow, 3 books in, and she still keeps me riveted to my seat. One little gripe regarding the synopsis. It gave away too much of the plot, I would have liked to have been more surprised and less forewarned, but hey ho. There are still a whole host of surprises and plot twists and turns. Laurel Snow’s personal and work life become intermingled when recent murders involve her friends and family. Of course her gorgeous hunk of a boyfriend, Captain Huck Rivers gets in on the action. I love their interactions, they work so well together on a professional and a personal level. We also have Laurel’s psychotic sister playing mind games throughout. Suspense, action (lots of it), and suspects galore. Great writing and a wonderful story. I loved it. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

Another fantastic book in this series!
This book is another true masterpiece written by Rebecca Zanetti! I just finished listening to the story, and my mind is still reeling and trying to process everything I just listened to. The way Rebecca Zanetti writes just grabs the reader's attention instantly, and the reader becomes fully invested in what is happening. I feel like Rebecca Zanetti is magical with the way she crafts her storyline and weaves various events together to ensure that her readers feel like they are part of the story, I was not able to figure out where the story was going and many times I am able to figure some if not all of the plot line, however with Rebecca Zanetti stories I usually am stumped which is nice!Laurel Snow is such a wonderfully complex character, and I just love her. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching her grow and change throughout this series.Abigail Crane is extremely terrifying!! I have no idea how Laurel will deal with her sister, but I'm definitely afraid, yet eagerly waiting to see what happens. I just hope that Laurel is able to, for lack of better wording, 'take Abigail out' before Abigail can cause even more damage!I can't wait for Laurel and Abigail's 'father' to have his comeuppance! That certainly will be a scary and interesting situation. I have no doubt that Rebecca Zanetti will write something that will amaze all of her fans! And, of course, what can I say about Captain Huck Rivers except yummy! He is also a complex character that I absolutely love and adore! I love the way he interacts with Laurel, and I am looking forward to how things will progress in the next book. I can't say more than that because I will not give away spoilers!in a nutshell, this was a phenomenal story, so well written and plotted out, character development was phenomenal, I think I definitely felt all the feels, and I highly recommend this series and literally everything that Rebecca Zanetti has written!! If this is not your genre, then look at other books written by her because she writes in several genres and truly does an amazing job. Rebecca Zanetti is a very gifted and talented storyteller!I read parts of this book on my Kindle and listened to portions in Audible, and both ways are phenomenal! I even purchased the book in paperback, so whichever way is your reading preference, you won't be disappointed!!

great series
I loved all three of these books. The mark of a good murder story is not seeing the murderer until then and these deliver along with great character development. Hope there are more.

Fantastic heroine!
It’s been a long time since I have enjoyed a heroine as much as Laurel. What a fresh and unique character!Huck is a great partner, both personally and professionally. Neither are perfect but they bring out the best in each other. I love a man strong enough in his own right that he can stand with, and support, such a smart and strong woman. Each book has a stand alone mystery, but the development of the supporting characters stories and the cat and mouse game between Laurel and Abigail throughout the series don’t really support reading these as standalone. Holy crap Abigail is one terrifying villain. If you enjoy this series, you won’t be disappointed in her others. I also recommend Kaylea Cross. Especially the Vengeance series.

Interesting characters
Not your normal romance novel for sure! Characters actually have depth and an interesting back story. The ending is a bit sappy and out of character but really enjoyed the series.
