JarwareMason Jar Lid, Seed Sprouting Lids For Wide Mouth Mason Jars, Set of 2

I have always struggled to sprout seeds properly and get the right drainage and moisture. I use sprouts on salads, in pastas, on sandwiches etc. to sprout properly, I have even tried a handmade terracotta sprouter but I prefer this mason jar attachment over the clay. It's easy to put on, it's convenient because I have lots of jars around, it's easy to clean and reuse and it looks nice, too. Only thing I wish was different was the color of plastic, or, even better if you he plastic bottom was made of metal. I am always looking to eliminate plastic use and this being the outside piece it is fine but would be awesome if it was metal! I enjoyed it so much, I bought a second one.

The lid worked for two weeks and then after that, the seal just was not reliable. It wouldn’t even go back into the ring in the jar. Unfortunately, I’m past the return date. But I would really like to return it.
