I bought these because I was tired of leaving ugly cardboard boxes around my living room for my cats to play in. They instantly loved these baskets and lay in them all the time. They look so much nicer in my living room than cardboard boxes. The cats also like to sharpen their claws on the thick weave of the baskets, which keeps them away from my couch. Win win!
