We have both a toddler and newborn so I was interested in how this compares with our Hatch. I love that you can choose to have the time displayed or turn it all off and simply use the sound portion for sleep. I also like that the nightlight portion is on the bottom to help our toddler rest easy at night, and the sleep training lights are on top. I can adjust the brightness of the nightlight by holding the Frida button on top so it’s not too bright for our little sleeper. It was easy to set the bedtime and wake up routines in this machine. Love that two of the seven sound options cover heartbeat and white noise. The volume gets plenty loud too! Really glad to have the Bluetooth speaker feature on this machine as well so we can switch up the sound. Also, we really love the battery backup!! Much needed for when the power goes out with a sleeping baby! Best of all, it has a lifetime warranty! We’re definitely holding onto our Frida baby sound machine!

I love the light it has, it’s very dim and doesn’t hurt your eyes. Wish it turned off more easily but not a deal breaker! I also really enjoy the Bluetooth function for when it’s not nap time. It has a feature where the time turns off for complete darkness and it comes in handy too. Overall it’s a great product, easy to hold and work with. I have a 3 month old so we haven’t used the “nap time” etc lights yet but I can see it being easy to work with. It’s something that will grow with my child. I recommend it! Especially when it’s on sale. We have a combination of sound machines and night lights and this one is by far the best of all worlds.

I ordered this after I left my expensive Hatch at a hotel. Reasons I like: - easy to use- clear instructions - multiple sound features (we like the ocean so it’s not constant noise volume) - color timers - use plus or battery - my FAV—does NOT have to connect to Bluetooth for the clock to work Potential cons: - no app (doesn’t bother me though) - the clock feature is VERY bright and you can’t dim the clock numbers, but you CAN turn it off Overall, we like and plan to keep. Giving 4 stars because the clock is so bright and there is no way to change that setting besides to turn it off. Sound quality is good and baby likes it= better sleep for him. It’s small and looks cute in his room.

Very pleased with this purchase. I like that’s it has everything in one device as we don’t have much table space in the nursery. The nightlight is touch which is convenient during the night feeds and the clock light is able to be turned off so my babies room can stay completely dark. A simple tap of the button and the time comes back up. Our baby is young so we haven’t used the rest of the features yet but in trying them out I think the sounds are good and volume has good levels and the red, yellow and green alarm light feature will be really nice as she gets older!

This little thing is small. Which I liked. However we did not like that the sound you have it set to when you turn it off is not what turns back on. You have to click through all of them. I was also under the impression that it wouldn’t HAVE to be plugged in to work that it charged. That is not the case. We live off grid so we lose power often enough for it to be an issue where the only thing that keeps the baby from waking up is that the constant sound from the sound machine is still on. We will just stick with our Frida noise machine that’s meant to travel/clip onto the car seat. I had thought we would love this one because we love that one but alas not all things are made equal. Oh and also the Bluetooth on ours did not work. Returned. Would not recommend - just buy the portable one. It’s plenty loud- the size is great - and it holds a battery for an entire night unplugged

UPDATE: I've had this for almost 2 months now. Would not buy again because it doesn't quite fulfill my needs. The clock is too bright so I've been keeping it off, and that defeats the point of me using it as a clock. Secondly, the night light is too dim. This wouldn't be good for middle of the night diaper changes, and I'd barely be able to see baby while nursing. Lastly, the buttons on top are annoyingly too hard to find and press if I'm half asleep. I bought this mainly for the clock and light functions, but I think it serves more as a sound machine first (which I don't use l). I just might have to give in to splurging on the Hatch I wanted an update for my 14 year old Philips wake up light and honestly can't find one that fits all of my needs so I settled on this one because it's affordable. It's got enough pros for me to be a keeper as I primarily need it to read the time and to use as a night light. Pros: -It looks attractive. It's small and I like the sleek cube shape. Like, why are so many wake up lights in 2023 butt ugly? This is one of the few that's not. -You can easily tap the top of the clock to turn on the night light for night time nursing. -You can use the when-to-wake light without sound. -The clock is easy to read because it's not tiny numbers at the bottom of the device. You also have the option of turning off the clock if it's too bright for you. -It doesn't depend on your phone to control. I'm just trying to keep it simple here. -It's affordable. If one day the world makes the perfect wake up light for me, I'd have no qualms giving this away. Cons: -The buttons on top are not raised so they're hard to navigate in the dark. You also have to apply a lot of pressure on them with your finger. It definitely takes effort to use them. -The sound machine is too loud at the lowest volume setting. -I wish the night light would go one notch brighter, but it's good enough for night time nursing. -I wish the when-to-wake light was also brighter to really help wake me up on dark mornings. -No snooze button for the alarm clock (but I guess I could use my phone alarm instead)

I use the sound machine for my toddler every single night and every single nap time. The sound is very nice. We use the “pink noise,” It literally sounds like you’re on an airplane. It is similar to the white noise or static but more calm. It was important to find a sound machine that I liked to because I have to hear it through the monitor while I sleep and it is not obnoxious like many others. I do wish the red light was a little bit brighter as I have read that red light helps relax you and put you to sleep. I like that you have a separate feature as well. We have not used the color changing to know when it is time to wake up, but I will definitely be implementing that in the future I think it Is a great feature.

This night light was our jump from using a vava light with our infant to the now toddler needing to stay in the crib. Our biggest need was the timed night light- it stays red from a set night time (we chose 8:00 pm) until a set morning time (currently set at 6:00am, but likely to change) when it turns green. We’ve taught our kid that “red means bed, and green means go” (i.e. stay in your crib/bed until this thing turns green and then it’s time to wake up). It also has a timed sound machine, Bluetooth speaker, and nightlight feature which we use daily for naps, dance parties and spooky story telling. The only thing we have yet to explore is the alarm system. This isn’t a touted feature, but something i appreciate as a traveling mom- the clock stays active when you unplug it so you don’t have to reset the clock every single time you plug it in somewhere new 🙏
