Q: Can I eat and drink with the guard on or do I have to remove to eat and drink?

Drinking yes, I haven't tried eating with them on

Q: Can these be cut down to use only on the back teeth?

Yes, however I'm not sure if you should. they fit well on all the teeth, it might not hold up properly if cut. I had the same idea and ended up using it as is.

Q: Can you eat with them on?

Although I thought I had researched these pretty carefully they didn't fit on my braces at all. It was very frustrating. I feel there wasn't enough information about making sure these bumpers fit on the particular brackets your orthodontist uses. When I tried to apply them to the brackets I thought might fit into the bumper, I found it very cumbersome and just gave up. Further explanation and instructions should accompany the product.
