Have not noticed any energy at all. Not a good substitute for caffeine from coffee or tea. I feel that they taste just fine, but the packaging is a bit annoying.

These taste pretty bad - bitter, with a hint of flax seed taste. Long story short, the caffeine content was not large enough to warrant putting myself through the ordeal of consuming them. I ended up throwing them out.
