First, the price and the quality. Current (April-May 2026) price is more than fair considering the quality. It is obvious the bars were crafted by people who take the craft seriously and work toward offering the best product possible for their customers. If you read the description in the advertisement and decide this is the soap for you you will likely not be disappointed. It does not have an unpleasant or pleasant scent as it is not that type of soap. What matters is that it WILL leave your skin feeling clean and very smooth (soft).

Loving this natural soap for body, face, and hair! I have sensitive skin and most products cause itching BUT this product is moisturizing and has a light beautiful natural scent. Suds up very nicely, especially in hair. When dry my hair is shiny and not frizzy, which is usually an issue for me. For the ladies, this soap is gentle enough for the lady parts and doesn't cause irritation. Yay! I usually use a probiotic bar for my face but decided to try this and its a winner! My complexion looks more even toned and brighter! I've gifted a few bars to family to try and I look forward to my next purchase!

This is the third Aleppo type olive-oil soap I've bought on Amazon, and my favorite by far. Completely non-irritating to my skin, and they seemed to last longer than the other brands, like maybe they had been dried longer. I was looking for a soap with more than 30% laurel oil, and this one fit the bill. The price for a pack of five was very reasonable. I highly recommend it. Previous alternatives I've tried: The first was an 80% olive oil/20% laurel oil, and while it was better than generic soaps, my skin still felt dry and itchy at times. Also, while all Aleppo soaps smell earthy, this one bordered on smelling like manure. The second I tried was Aleppo Daphne soap which came in a pack of 12, and seemed to be mostly olive oil. It smelled better, and it was cheap, but it was almond-colored instead of the brown exterior/green interior of true Aleppo soap, and each bar didn't seem to last very long. Also, some of the bars had a gritty texture as they wore down which irritated my skin.

Absolutely love daily showers since receiving this soap. Love everything about it. The smell is fresh, my skin is literally squeaky clean, one bar lasts over 2.5 months for 2 people using daily, when resting on a strainer dish so it dries out between uses, cool hand pressed bar, Best part for me is doesn't mess with my extremely sensitive skin & I've had no reactions. Olive oil - Yay! Bought the 5 bar pack & even considering another one for family's Xmas stocking stuffers. Thanks- this works so well .

Although I was originally skeptical due to its dark color, this soap is very high quality and smells very pleasant. It is now one of my favorites.

My skin was noticeably different within a few hours. I bought this soap after hearing it help with body odor and I'm trying to go natural. I got the 30% laurel version. I've tried several different types of products and this works really well, with an alum stone. What really surprised me was how smooth my skin looked after using it. Later the same day I started using it, I noticed the texture of my skin was softer and some irritation i had on my arms looked more calm. A few days later and the irritation is almost gone. I didn't buy the soap for that, so I wasn't expecting it. It has a nice traditional soap smell and lathers really well. Your skin might feel like that squeaky clean feel, but it doesn't strip your skin or dry it out. I think it's because of the olive oil it leaves on your skin, which is moisturizing and helps inhibit bacteria growth. It's also huge. One soap square is probably equivalent to about two standard irish springs/dove soap bars. I took this picture from the side so you can see how tall it is. A regular soap bar usually hits around that black bar in height. I recommend trying this soap!

I had bought Aleppo soap from another company and I really liked it. I bought this one next because it came with more bars at time, trying to save how often I ordered. When it came I noticed it had a more perfumed smell, but I was hoping that was just because it was a slightly different brand. The other brand had a more earthy smell that may not be pleasant to those used to regular body soap, so I was hoping my husband would like this one better. But within a week or so of using this soap my husband developed a rash. It took me a few months to realize it might not be going away because the soap was causing it. I had him switch to another soap and it completely cleared healed in less than two weeks. I also noticed this brand wasn’t as green as the other brand. Not Aleppo soap.

I absolutely love this soap! My hair and skin love it as well! I feel clean after and am less likely to get stinky! My skin has been clearer as well! I have curly hair, and my curls look so nice after washing with this! I also normally have to use conditioner, but I can go without it with this soap! I have been trying to use more natural products with no chemicals. This was a soap recommended to me, and I am so glad! Its smell is nice to me, but it’s definitely a kind of incensey or herbal smell. I could see why some might not like it, but you don’t overly smell like it after washing. So even if you don’t like the smell, it would be an easy thing to get past for the benefits of it. It came quickly and I have had 0 issues with it! I definitely suggest this soap over any body soap, shampoo, or conditioner.
