A great adjunct to improve heavy load handling
I had both rear 2nd leaf springs on my Xterra fracture in the same place (mfg defect in my opinion). Needed to make a long trip but could not tolerate the constant banging on the hard stop from the factory. Installed these springs as I was awaiting my new Old Man Emu springs to arrive. These handled the trip perfectly and worked very well. The only snag was getting the old bolts out as they were very rusted in place. Trick was to repeatedly soak with Kroil(tm) and then grind off using a dremel and a metal abrasive disks (stack them 3 thick) and at least 1/2 the diameter of the vertically exposed bolt off completely. That vertical half bolt will reduce the force needed to remove the bolt and act as a bit of a thread chaser. That was my fix as an impact driver would not fit in the space. I make no warranty that that will work for you by it did for me. If you break a bolt off like I did, grind away the whole welded nut inside the frame bracket using a dremel (about 15 min per nut was the time it took for me, being careful to not grind away any of the mounting bracket steel, visegrip the stub and twist out the remaining bolt remnant from the frame bracket. Thoroughly blow out or flush out all grinding debris before doing the new install. Then use a flange nut on the new bolt and tighten...I always use an anti-seize on the new bolts any time I do chassis work.

Great add on for Xterra
I am towing a 4000lb Winnebago camper and the sumo springs made it so much better. Really a great improvement when towing and they were not that hard to put on, although we had to muscle them in place. Great value for the money. So much better than changing out the leafs.
