A Twist of the Blade (Book 2)

A Twist of the Blade is the second book in the Shadows & Crowns series that picks up in Oblivion where the first book left off. This book is an epic fantasy adventure and you will not want to put it down. I truly love Casia’s character and like in the first book, I found her struggles with mental health incredibly relatable. One of my favorite parts about this book and series is Casia’s crew and the found family vibes. The banter in this series is so well written and I found myself already so attached to these characters just two books in. And of course the relationship between Casia and Elander is a slow burn chef’s kiss in my opinion, the library scene was one of my favorites(iykyk). If you love enemies to lovers, epic battles, and found family vibes, then I highly recommend you start this series!

Oh my goodness this book was awesome!! It flowed so smooth with adventure, friendship, fighting, and a love story. Thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to read number 3!

Ik had de 3 boeken samen besteld: The song of the Marked, A Twist of the Blade, The Call of the Void.Boek 1 en 3 werden al snel geleverd. Boek 2 kwam veel later aan en ziet er gehavend uit. Voor een nieuw boek vind ik dit niet ok. Ziet er tweedehands uit vergeleken met de andere 2 boeken.

I really enjoyed book 1 and this one did not disappoint, the story kept me gripped and continued to throw in plenty of twists and turns throughout. I loves reading as Cas and Elander worked their way back to each other bit that ending!! I need to know what happens next.

Anxious FL representation, which I appreciated and entertaining to a certain degree.Friendships were convenient and not developed enough.Still not good enough to recommend it. It’s def not nearly as good as FB&A🤷‍♀️
