Time Trials - Rise of the Administrator

I didn't expect this story at all. To be honest, I wasn't exactly sure what to make of this. A short story from Rothman, who I am familiar with, and Butler who I am not.I don't want to give anything away, but the short story kept my attention. It's so what I would have expected from Rothman, but with a really funky twist (maybe Butler's influence?). The surprise nugget though is that this short story includes a good chunk of the follow-on story that is being released in a month or two. Now THAT tease makes me want to read it all the more and I'm annoyed I have to wait.Good job guys. I'm wondering how this story stitches with the follow-on. I have many questions.

I've thoroughly enjoyed everything I've read by Mr Rothman. This "appetizer" for his and Butler's new Time Trials books has done its job and now I'm keenly awaiting the first book scheduled for a March 7 delivery.
