OlfaSCS-2 - Tijeras multiusos de 170 mm

Having previously bought two really good snap-off cutters in the past from Olfa, were the first company I thought of when I decided to finally get a decent pair of scissors. As always the build quality is first rate, with a really smooth contoured plastic handle and weighty, very finely machined blades.I've never actually had scissors which feel as great in the hand as these do – you just know you're holding something that's been carefully designed. They're light, but weighty enough to cut through thicker materials like leather. The plastic is smooth, and the cutting action is buttery smooth as well. One of the blades has a very fine serrated edge and the other is straight and knife sharp. They combine into allowing very fine detail cutting, perfect for paper crafts.I know scissors are mundane items, but even with the simple stuff it's nice to see this level of care in the design and materials. Olfa are a level above.

I use these scissors for cutting accurate appliqué shapes in fabric and the micro serration on the blades helps enormously.

Fabulous pair of scissors. They are a nice handy size, tough and very sharp. The serrated edge helps when cutting anything like plastic sheets etc. but they are fine enough to cut cotton strands cleanly. I love them as much as I do the Olfa product range in general. Haven't yet bought anything made by them that didn't live up to my expectations. Great purchase.
