I thought "salt is just salt, coming from sea water". Now, after tasting this Redmond Real Sea Salt, I'm convinced that "not any salt is created equal". I know we have to watch out on our salt intake but it tastes so good! It's dry, very fine and looks good, not like some other brands on Amazon. Its expiration date is 01/2031. Its size is perfect to use on dining table. I highly recommend this Redmond salt.

A Bit More Expensive Than Others But Has Health Benefits That Others Don’t ! Bottles Are Larger And Last A Long Time. It’s The Only Salt We Buy.

We’ve now been through two of these, and have also tried their other salt related products as well. Excellent salt, both in flavor and consistency. The fine grain version works great in any salt shaker if you don’t use the container that it comes in.

I bought this because I thought it was natural and free of microplastics. But they sent it in a plastic bottle! When I wrote them with this concern, they replied: "We don’t currently test for microplastics because it’s nearly impossible to get a meaningful result. Plastic particles can be introduced at any stage—during packaging, shipping, or even when you open a shaker at home. Since contamination can occur after the salt leaves the deposit, testing wouldn’t reflect the actual purity of the ancient seabed where Real Salt comes from. So while no salt can be 100% free of microplastics once it’s packaged, Real Salt is a good choice for those trying to reduce their exposure to microplastics." Maybe it contains fewer microplastics than regular salt but it didn't make me feel like they worked very hard to keep microplastics out in the processing and packing of it.

I hope it's the real thing, as half of the round protective cover was already open. Besides, the blue plastic lid does not fully close because it comes with a gap around the only opening, and also it does not have the little holes every sallt container has. Weird packaging, really.

Unusual good salt and minerals. Unrefined Utah salt. Tastes far better than normal salt.Unfortunaly, salt dispenser not good. Needs some improvement, as either delivers too much ,or too little.
