Good Price, but not an ideal solution. I bought this as I needed to tighten 4 screws up to 1.5 Nm tension. This was a one off job and so I didn't want to spend a fortune on a Torque adjustable screwdriver; this seemed a good compromise, as it was less expensive and only adjusted across a small range. It comes calibrated and certified as set to 1.2Nm; I set about reading how to change the torque setting. This is were the problems arose. To adjust the settings you need to take a cap off the handle end of the driver and insert a 7mm nut spinner (I didn't have one and none of my sockets would fit in the hole); the adjustment requires turning a small nut on a spindle, which is recessed into the handle. The driver must then be re-calibrated to ensure that the setting is at the required torque. Eventually obtaining a nut spinner I came to the next problem, I had assumed there would be some sort of markings to indicate different torque settings; there are not. You are required to rotate the nut spinner 180 degrees to change the torque by 0.1. However, the instructions do not state in which direction to rotate the nut spinner! There was some yellow paint attached to the nut and spindle (to show the settings had not changed from the calibration) so I marked the handle, in line with the yellow paint, as a reference and rotated the nut spinner clockwise for 180 degrees. On removing the spinner, the nut had rotated about 100 degrees , but the spindle had also rotated; disaster! I quickly used the spinner and rotated it 180 degrees CCW, but nothing lined up. In theory the yellow paint on the spindle and the nut should have been in line with my reference mark, but all three reference points were in different positions. So I now have no idea what torque setting the driver is at.In summary, this is a well manufactured product and would be ideal for use at its pre-set torque setting; however, if you need to adjust the torque setting, you really need a way of calibrating it afterwards.

Really disappointing, and terribly misleading description. The product is rated as adjustable, which technically is true. However what the description doesn’t tell you is that in order to adjust it you have to pry off a super stiff cap (it gets mangled in the process), and then use a nut spinner (???) to adjust the screw under the cap.Even if you have a nut spinner (which I don’t) there are no calibration markings so you would have to rely on the poor documentation telling you to adjust in 180 degree increments (but not which direction).Overall a complete waste of money, and I feel mislead into buying something which is not really capable of what it advertises.

A nice screwdriver but not as good as the other version where you can easily change the torque without dismantling the screwdriver.

This is not as advertised. This is advertised as 1.2 -3.0Nm . The screwdriver is set at 1.2Nm and only adjustable by removing the end cap ( which is extremely difficult) on the screwdriver then using a nut spinner to adjust. However no markings are available to determine setting.

I should read reviews first before buy.Very disappointed with the Wera torque screwdriver. Description says that screwdriver is adjustable 1.2Nm to 3.0Nm but is NOT. It's coming pre-set 1.2Nm.

I received this only to discover it's not adjustable and seems fixed at 1.2nm. It's supposed to be 1.2 to 3.0nm.

Great little torque driver. Reliable and compact.Thought we may have got a few bits with it though.Quite expensive but is a quality product.

This “adjustable” driver does not have an easy to use adjustment. You have to adjust it by taking off the endcap on the handle which is impossible to do without damaging the cap itself. Then, you adjust by counting the turns on the setting nut…there are no settings markings so if you lose track of how many turns you have made, you have to start over.TERRIBLE instructions!! in the box.The tool seems well made construction-wise (except for the “removable” end cap) but everything else about it and the manual is completely user-unfriendly.So glad I read the reviews before I tried taking the end cap off.Whoever designed this particular tool should be ashamed.

Super, funktioniert sehr gut und zuverlässig, das einstellen ist leider nicht so einfach,! ich habe mir diesen für Spezial-schrauben (Wärmepumpen) nach/abzuziehen, Perfekt! Für die anderen Schrauben/Drehmomente habe ich mir mehrere zugelegt, (mit einer Latte, Waage und Grundgewicht eine jederzeit überprüfeinheit gemacht!) Sollte man nicht so weit sein sollte man sowiso die hände von der arbeit lassen !!!! Gefahr in verzug!!!!!!!!!!!zzzzzzzz Qualität der Arbeit.......
