This tool has already paid itself off several times on fixing just these two panels. Very happy with the included accessories and stainless mesh. The cutters are VERY cheap and did actually cut (I was already expecting to toss them.) The included plastic rods smell very strong and smoke quite a bit so highly recommend using outside or fan blowing. Only time will tell the durability but all fixes after this are gravy.

I used a high end plastic welding set up 20+ years ago. I've often thought of getting one for small repairs but couldn't justify the price of a unit like I have sued in the past. I came across an add for this one. I was skeptical because of the cost. My son's race front wheel drive dirt cars and have to use factory bumper covers. we've destroyed a few in the past two seasons and they're expensive and hard to find in junk yards. I was able to repair major tears in three bumpers in less than an hour with this tool. Not a perfect repair but it's on a stock car so only has to look good from the stands. If you want a tool that will get a decent plastic repair and don't want to make a huge investment this will work great for you. Nothing seems very high quality so I'm not sure how long it will last, but repairing three bumpers that were close to throw away has already saved me more than the cost.

Worked as it should to fix a cracked front bumper

I bought this for repairing an old Coleman canoe made out of HDPE. It was easy to use and fixed a few big cracks, one of which was more of a hole. The mesh and tape came in handy, along with the plastic welding.

Had one of these for a couple of years, think the wattage was 30 watts. The new one blows the old one out of the water with 150 watts, This one will make the wire staples glow red in just a few seconds, makes quick work out of repairing plastic parts that are broken.

This product was amazing. Used to put a lawn tractor hood back together after it was broken in several pieces. Sturdy as ever. saved. $ 200.00 not having to buy a new one.

The gun works great.Staples and welding material are great. The only issue is that the gun gets hot after awhile and you literally cannot hold it in your hand unless you have a thick glove.

Looks like good product. Lots of different items in it. Haven't used it yet

Used this tool to patch my fender back together. I had to use a bunch of staples but it was really easy to use. It does get warm on the handle when melting the sticks but if you just let it cool down in between welds it's no problem. A new fender would cost over 800 bucks and I have the tool now well worth it.My weld was under the storage lid so I wasn't concerned about how it looked.
