US Toy Adult Economy Poncho

This is a superb poncho option which I gave to my 15 year old to wear for his Mexican Fiesta themed birthday party this past November. The price is right, especially compared to other ponchos I have seen (which look like they are made of t-shirt material and double the price). If you've ever had one of those Mexican style blankets, it is the same material - which may be an issue if you plan on using it during the hot summer. The color came as light green along with the same gray/white/black you see here. The only negative? The smell of the material. Again, if you've ever had or seen one of the traditional Mexican blankets then you know what I'm talking about. I recommend taking it out of the packaging and using some Febreze on it ahead of time. We did not wash it, but it does seem sturdy and put together well enough to survive at least a gentle wash cycle by itself. All in all, I recommend.

Do not dry this in the dryer as it will bunch up and look like crap after. Before washing the poncho it was very nice for the price. Luckily, I only needed it for one day but I wanted to wash it before storing it. I honestly don't know if it had washing instruction on it. I donated it to good will after it came out of the dryer all bunched up. All in all it served it purpose for the one day I needed it and that was my intention when I bought it so I'm not losing any sleep over it.

It was a great poncho. The fit was big on me, as I'm 5' 5'' and on medium build side but it fit perfectly on the 6' heavy set guy who wore it all night to MC. It seemed pretty sturdy and we will be using it again and again for our annual Fiesta Dinner. The four star rating is based on the color of the poncho. It is bright bright green in the picture, but I received a muted neon green and grey poncho. But all around, it was a great poncho.

Shed's quite a bit, so advisable to wash before you wear. Also smells a bit funny, but overall it's a quite effective poncho if you need it for costume purposes. Not really an every day piece of apparel, though.

I am really impressed with this item. When I purchased the item, i was convinced it would be too thin and nothing like the picture.....i was wrong! The poncho is thick with great fabric. Recommend for your fiesta theme parties.I used as a prop for pictures and it fit the different size of men at my party. Small-Xl.

The poncho I received had a green striped pattern, which looked great.My 9 year old who was wearing for a school dress up day loved it. He said it was comfy, warm but not hot.The price I paid was good for the quality, and if I needed another I would repurchase this.

It is mostly as advertised, but the colors aren't that bright. It's more muted green. The only reason for 1 less star is that it smelled horrible right out of the package, but after a few hours it mostly evaporated.

We purchased this for a Cinco de Mayo party along with some sombreros. The poncho we received was shades of green and white, nice and heavy cotton material and the opening was finished nicely with binding. The kids (16-18 yrs) had a lot of fun dressing up and taking pictures at the party...good quality for the price.
