Will this work on a plastic glasses frame ?

No. This glue works by melting the mating surfaces of polystyrene (soft) plastics. The plastic of glasses frames is much harder and denser and will not melt under Tamiya cement. I would recommend low viscosity cyanoacrylate (super glue).

will this glue bond small painted parts well on a pvc model?

No, it can only glue together plastic model kits that use polystyrene plastic.

Does this work on perspex?

It’s for polystyrene- it melts the plastic. Perspex is not polystyrene- best to use a super glue.

I am using this product for the first time always used revel contacta is it only good for large parts or can be used for small delicate parts

Use for ALL parts with confidence. Like you, I used to use 'contacta' too. Tamiya Extra-Thin is so much superior in every way. It actually 'welds' the seperate parts together by melting a micro-thin film of plastic on the two pieces in contact (rather than having a layer of glue BETWEEN them which simply sets hard-'ish!). It is much less messy and (being thin) has the fantastic capability to 'run' along joint/panel lines etc by capiliary action. The final joints made with this stuff are far, far firmer than your normal glues. Don't hesitate to use this stuff - you'll never go back to using the old stuff!
