NGT 'Session' Beanie Unhooking Mat - Green, 110 x 60

Brilliant .strong and nice size

The size when opened up flat is perfect for my pike fishing, ideally a trifold design would make it much easier to carry especially if you are bank fishing where you will be moving a lot. So far it seems to be waterproof which is definitely something you want from an unhooking mat in my opinion. The beanie surround is nice to kneel on, especially in a boat! The centre section could probably do with being a little more padded which, given it only folds in half wouldn't have been an issue to do design wise. For the price it's worth picking up as fishing gear isn't always cheap and this will do the job, just not ideal given it's slightly large size if you have to carry it. Any unhooking mat of this size will have downsides as the more padding there is the bulkier it will be and so a roll type design probably wouldn't work. For this price point it's probably the best I've come across though.

As a lady fisher person, I found it to be light so easy to carry, plus it is comfortable for the fish and the sides stops them coming off the mat when they flap around ( as they do ). It will also hold the bigger fish, upto 30lb plus .Personally I would recommend it anyone who is looking to buy a new unhooking mat.
