Buy it - pay once/cry once, but get it.
Bought a set (springs, mattress, pillow cover). Standard QUEEN size. Sizing perfect. Note: standard size pillow cover fits my standard size MyPillow like a glove. Install: Yes, 2 people will make easy work of this, but can be done with 1 person willing to take their time and wrangle the springs & mattress around. Note that their marketing demo video shows a young lady with the mattress cover already pre-positioned underneath a 1-piece mattress. So here's a tip for the real world, especially if you're doing this alone: For the standard QUEEN set, stand at the foot of the bed & face the headboard. For our purposes you are now facing NORTH. Unlike the video, you will want to position the closure where you can get at it easily if needed, particularly if you have some special headboard. Make the closed portion of the cover be at the SOUTH end, foot of the bed. AFTER unzipping, and it's flopping around in your hands & you got the foot into the closed portion, start the open zipper at the SOUTHEAST corner of the mattress - it'll be about 14" forward (north toward the headboard) of that corner. Then zip around to the north, past the headboard and back down to close at the SOUTHWEST corner just north of the foot of the bed, also by about 14". Actually takes longer to type than do it. Did not find it noisy, did not find that it sleeps especially warm. Likely the terrycloth top portion of the mattress cover (that you sleep on) mitigates that. Naturally prior to install you "GI'd" the room, cleaning/vacuuming/sealing etc. With that done properly, it's bug-free sleep time. Great product, worth every penny.

Peace of Mind
I bought the SafeRest box spring and mattress encasements and pillow covers for every pillow we own as a preventive measure, as my husband travels for work to multiple cities and states every single week. He stays at numerous different hotels and recently got bitten by bedbugs at one. We made sure he didn't bring any back, but I got the encasements just in case in the future. These protectors fit my queen size pillows very tight and perfectly, so I can imagine that they would be slightly loose on a standard size. It's made of a terry-like material that's soft and silent when you roll over on it. The zipper is tiny and invisible. I put pillow cases that came with my sheet set over these, and you can't even tell that I have these on when I sleep on the pillows. If anything, the terry adds friction so that the pillow doesn't bunch up and roll around in the regular pillow case. I have not tested the waterproof-ness of these cases, as we don't eat or drink on the bed, but because the materials are like towels and they're also lined inside in a smoother, tightly-knit material, they look like they can at least absorb small amounts of liquids before it even reaches your pillow. I have noticed that my sinuses feel better when I wake up in the morning too, which is definitely a plus. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase, and would recommend these to anyone.

Reliable Waterproof Protection
The SafeRest Pillow Protector in Queen size is practical and effective. The zippered cover fits securely, and the waterproof protection keeps the pillow safe from spills or moisture. It’s a simple way to extend pillow life while adding peace of mind.

Less Expensive and At Least as Good (Possibly Better) than Most
I bought this primarily to protect my nice pillows against bedbugs. I don't have bedbugs now, but have enough friends with bedbug horror stories that it led me to buy this (and similar mattress protectors) as a preventative measure. I must note that the primary purpose of this product, for me, is to prevent bedbugs from reaching my actual pillow, in the event that they get into my house in the first place. Fortunately, to the best of my knowledge I don't have any bedbugs in my house, thus I have no means of assessing the actual effectiveness of this product in accomplishing its primary mission of protecting my pillow from bedbugs. However, the seams are stitched well, the zipper closes very securely, and the ostensibly-bedbug-proof inner lining of the product is made of polyurethane, which I expect to be more durable and less susceptible to cracking than cheap vinyl used in some pillow protectors. Finally, I have no factual basis to dispute the bedbug-resistance claims of some competing products made of 100% microfiber polyester, but I have a couple of those and I must admit that I am rather skeptical of their ability to actually keep bedbugs out. In any event, this is the least costly and seemingly highest quality pillow protector I have been able to find among four different ones I have bought that claim to be bedbug-proof. In the absence of a Consumer Report or similar scientific comparison of bedbug-proof pillow/bed/etc-protector products, my money is on this one.

Nice protectors
These are great. They feel soft and don't make a crinkly sound at all. I bought them for our guestroom so I don't have to wash the pillows all the time :-)

Protection from mold + bed bugs + more - inexpensive and seems well made
Inexpensive and seems to do the job Does add to the warmth of the pillow, but no more than any other product out there in my experience I bought this because my GF had been living in a place with Mold Issues. Her Dr told us that we could benefit from adding cases like this to our pillows because it would lock mold out and keep it on the exterior where it could be washed away in a washing machine. Without it, the mold can penetrate into the pillow and live and grow in the pillows fibers or feathers. Sounds like a tall tale, but I believe it now... it only takes having one person close to you go through something like mold poisoning to actually start to get enough education on it to see the reality of it. Anyway, worth the money and the investigation.. these are now on all our pillows and get washed a few times a month. How I rate something: When I review an item, I try to always do so in context of the product and its description. For example, if I bought a vase that said shatter proof, and then drop it on the ground and it shatters, that is bad. But if I purchased a crystal wine glass, and knocked it over on the counter and it broke, I would not say "these glasses are not very sturdy". I believe, when possible, in reviewing items based on what is available in the market. Sometimes the market simply does not have better options. So if the product is the best in its class, I think it deserves 5 stars even if you can "poke holes" in their design or materials. I want to help you pick the best item available COMPARED to all other items that fill the same user requirements. Who I am / Where I work / Why I review I am not affiliated with the sale of ANY product(s) I do not take employment from any company I review, in any way I paid for the product out of pocket and I work a job in a completely unrelated field to items I purchase I am a serial researcher by hobby (and OCD) and spend a lot of time developing my purchase choices I recently decided to do what I could to give back to the Amazon community for all the reviews they have done that have helped me with decisions on products I have made This review is 100% honest and based on my personal experience with the product

Excellent dustmite protection
Already sleep with it for few weeks. It is very effective in protecting dustmite. It will not have a balloon feel. I like it very much.

Don't even notice it's there
Better quality than hypoallergenic pillow covers bought at large retailer "W". The plastic backing in those delaminated after a year or so. These seem to be holding up better after ~6 months. The terrycloth face is very nice and comfortable on its own, though I still put them in pillowcases. These don't add extra noise, therefore I haven't noticed them while sleeping. Regarding size and laundering: the label in the pillowcase states standard size is 21x27", queen is 21x31", king is 21x37". Can be washed hot up to 95 degrees C, tumble dry low up to 55 degrees C. Not sure how effective these are at keeping bugs inside infested pillows (why not dispose of those?), but the zipper has very fine teeth and seems very tight. Zipped up all the way and it's nearly airtight.

The good, the bad and the ugly
The reason I gave this a 3 out of 5 is because the sizing doesn’t fit my arctic polar pillow and because I was misled to believe this came with two pillow protectors. It’s not very soft but it’s definitely breathable because I can feel the cool side of my polar arctic pillow just fine. Once I put a pillow case on top of the protector I can’t feel the texture of it anymore. I’m really annoyed that this didn’t fit snug though, this is not a standard sized pillow protector, I’d say this more queen. I got this half priced, which means the original price is almost $30 and for 1 pillow protector that’s a rip off because u can buy mattress protectors for $10 and that uses way more fabric. I do like this brand and the quality of their products so I am pretty happy about the breathability feature more than anything else. I am not sure if this is water proof since it doesn’t seem like it’s made of a plastic material from the outside, I’ll have to check the inside to be sure. I like that it’s not noisy as well. Order two if you need a second one. I would’ve preferred if it was clearly labelled as being a 1 pack right on the title of this product.
