Diabetes stinks, but it’s my fault and I take full responsibility. I’ve installed the glucose meter and can quickly see the effects of what I eat and I’ve been able to lose forty pounds since I turned my ship around.My wife and I were shopping for a picnic dinner last Saturday for a night at the Hollywood Bowl. These are typically decadent affairs where nothing is off the table, so to speak. I knew that my participation would be completely different this time and knew this was payback for being a pig for so many decades. But my wife noticed these “keto” chocolates at Target and picked up a pack for me. I’ve been burned too many times in these recent months and know that the safe approach is to try a very small sample and then watch my app to see whether my glucose spikes or not.So I tried one of these after dinner while everyone else was tucking into their cheesecake. My first thought was instant regret, because this tasted too good to be legal for me. Forty-five minutes later and there was no glucose spike. Later in the evening I had two more and cut myself off. Still no spike though.So since last weekend, these have been my daily splurge. Each piece is two or three bites and I enjoy two each day. They’re perfect. This is just enough good chocolate to satisfy me without sabotaging myself. So perfect.And then Thursday it occurred to me that this magic chocolate of mine was running out. NO!!!!So I checked here at Amazon and was pleasantly surprised to find these wonderful chocolates here.I splurged and bought two packs of six. This wasn’t cheap, but I’m still ahead of the game compared to all I used to spend on junk, so I made the purchase. The order estimate page lied to me and told me it was going to be about a week for fulfillment (sad trombones), but come to find out they were just teasing. I actually received the box the next day.And oh what a box it was!!! Looks like it came straight from Wonka’s factory.It’s early September and I’m a moron for ordering chocolate by mail. (But you already knew I’m a moron because of the lifestyle that led to diabetes.)But those folks at the chocolate factory are not morons at all. Evidently they put some thought into this and knew what to do.Picture every Amazon box you’ve ever received: There’s the outer box with the Smile on it, a bunch of poofy pillows for protection, and then the actual product inside—hopefully not broken. Now shake your mental Etch-A-Sketch and forget all of that.First there was a beautiful & whimsical outside box reminding you to be very careful and bring this indoors asap (gently implying that you’re a moron for ordering chocolate when it’s still in the high 90s outside). No poofy pillows though. Instead there was a zippered quilted container that looks exactly like the ones that we’ve stored our nice china in for the past 35 years. Very handsome. And then inside were my 12 bags of beautiful chocolate. I was a little concerned that things were damp in there, but then I discovered the ice packs that they had included.No joke: I was touched, even a little choked up. Not only did this arrive four days before I expected, but look at all the TLC that those Oompa Loompas put into my order. This is amazing service and care. Incredible.And oh yeah, the chocolate is incredible as expected.So now I can carry on with my daily treat of two squares of chocolate without veering from my new purpose to improve myself and improve my life. And I feel like I have another positive partner in my journey to wellbeing.Don’t tell my wife, but I think I’m in love with a chocolate factory.

When you live with Type 2 Diabetes, it’s difficult to find something that will satisfy your sugar cravings. Many companies use sugar alcohols (mannitol, etc.), which can cause diarrhea. These candies are the perfect size (although, admittedly, it’s hard to stop with just one) for a sugar craving that won’t upset your stomach. They taste like the real thing! They’re pricey, but well worth it.

I have loved every choczero product that I’ve gotten so far. Taste just like regular candy. I will continue to order and enjoy.

I love all the ChocZero individual chocolate bark except the original flavor. The original flavor tasted like wax and not rich. However, all the flavors have been great. I especially love the orange, mint and caramel.

UPDATE on the review-- I bumped this to a higher score after I got a refund. I would have given it a 5 star, but again it seemed like action did not happen until I placed a review and then was contacted.I would have given a 5 star if they responded to my email versus having to write a review in order to be responded to. Again, I do not have multiple experiences getting a refund form this company so I would not be sure what is the standard deviation on how many people email to get a response versus you have to make a public review to get a response. If the data shows that I am an outlier and 95% plus of people get a response without a public review than I would say 5 stars, but I have no data on this so it is based on my antidotal experience. My review still stands as a refund does not modify the product situation I had, but at least the company has taken action for compensatory acknowledgement and action.Moving forward I would feel good about placing larger orders in again.OLD review--before response.I Love ChocZero, but I will never again buy in larger quantity than one. I buy these at my local store for awhile, and they did not have the orange flavor, and decided to get in a larger amount to create some convenience, but half them in each bag were so deformed and reshaped I dunno....Again it would not have so bad if ChocZero would reply to me as they claim they will exchange melted stuff and they claim they will get back to you via email in 2 days, but I guess 2 days is like Alien time zone so....I mean, yeah you can eat re-melted chocolate, but my assumption is if you had one brand that sold chocolate and another brand that said ALL NEW reformed from melted chocolate -- well I mean who gonna pay money for that?NOT ME!!!!Besides sadness --- this orange flavor chocolate piece is amazing. It taste amazing!If you get a bag that is sold as what it should be sold as intended--then your good to go--this is one of the best flavored keto chocolate pieces.

I was skeptical and took a chance. Boy was i surprised! Tastes like I hoped! More please!
