As the title says, it is true. The frame looks good, but I had to trim down the bottom of the frame, because the information displayed on my states license plate was covered. It was a simple modification, but overall was a bit of a inconvenience mainly. So id say the coverage of this frame is a bit much, but I'm sure its on a state by state thing. It is made of a metal alloy so therefore it is very sturdy and really durable. Screws with perfectly and the screw caps make it look clean. Overall depending on how your state displays its information on said license plate and you think it will work with yours, then I'd say pull the trigger and grab it. But just keep in mind that it might cover information that by state law is required to be visible. And if that's the case you'll need to modify it or not use it.

Excellent product

I think it is a great buy for the price!! I really appreciate the screw covers. It gives a nice finish. I wish there was a way that the design would allow the entire name of my state to show.

This is well made. Stripping is excellent. Fits license plate. The only complaint is that the screws and caps sent with it, did not fit the holes of my 2022 X5M or my 2021 330i. We had to use smaller screws that came with the cars when we bought them and used the old caps.

It looks good. It fit my plate well. The 2 included Philips head mounting screws were the wrong size for my BMW X5. So I just used 2 of the original mount screws with small washers. I will probably pull it off and put the 2 bottom screws in and then mount th plate frame back on. The package also came with what I can only assume were like screw head caps? I dunno, but they were too big for both my original mount screws and the included ones.
