I have a few old style clip-on spotlight fittings that used 40W filament spotlight bulbs. They've been destined to collect dust as I don't like using them because they get too hot. I've been keeping an eye out for some replacement LED bulb replacements, but they aren't all that easy to find with the small Edison screw type (E14) and being in the spotlight format.These ones from Ledgle are ideal. They arrive in a retail box with six bulbs nicely held in place with a plastic vacuum packaging inside. Popping one into one of the old fittings and it worked with no problems. The light output is definitely higher than the 40W bulb it replaced even though it's only 6W! The great thing is that even after being on for an hour, the fitting only got luke warm. This is exactly what I was after.Overall, I am very pleased with these bulbs. They look and work the same as the filament bulbs but using a fraction of the electricity and not getting hot.No heat and great light output

I've experienced many issues with halogen lights over the years - from those which promise 10000 hours of use and blow within a week, to those which last a little longer, but blow the actual bulb from the base when they fail. Electricians tested the bulb holders and say they're OK, and the wattage was correct - so I started to look at LED as an alternative.I selected the LEDGLE as they came in packs of 6 rather than the usual 5 (which would have meant I'd need to buy either two packs, or one pack and a single).They arrived on the following day, and after installing them several months ago, they're doing exactly what I wanted. The added bonus is that the light spread is better than the old halogen bulbs, and they don't heat up as much. The light seems somehow better too, but that's probably my imagination.......All in all, an excellent replacement item!

I was so pleased to find light bulbs which were similar in shape to the type I use for my lighting sets but which are now almost impossible to find. These LED replacements are absolutely perfect. Perhaps a little brighter and more natural than the previous bulbs which is nothing to complain about. I definately recommend them.

After first purchasing a pack half the price of these I can see why they were so cheap. Poor quality and not one bulb worked. Total waste of time.These are great though. Good quality and they all Work! Well worth the money.

Great bulbs, with a lovely white tone (not too cool, not too warm).Used for a few years.However, today, one of them blew the cap off the front and tripped the lighting circuit. The cover was across the room, and the bulb felt very warm. It smells of burning components.Can someone at LEDGle contact me please?

Fitted to two older three way small Edison screw spot lights and are a perfect replacement. Slightly opaque front conceals the led light source so they look tidy even when turned off. Being warm white they enhance orange/red colour ranges. Other led lights round the house have been there for a long time so I do not have any doubts about their durability. I ordered another pack, says it all!
