The novel starts with the arrest of a notorious criminal and the hunt is on for finding his hidden treasure. There are many twists in the story with the main theme of mystery and adventure kept alive as you read chapter by chapter as viewed and experienced by a young and adventurous detective Jessica...feels like a new age Enid Blyton thriller with the right elements of mystery in it...children from age group of 8 to 15 will enjoy reading this novel...also adults who have grown up reading secret seven and famous five series..

My take on the bookIf you are a fan of board games such as Monopoly and Cluedo, then "Quest for the lost treasure" by young writer (just aged 12 or 13 I suppose) Shreeya Kane's debut novel is just perfect for you. 
The novel opens with the arrest of a notorious criminal with a secret of hidden treasure which acts as a catalyst in the string of hair raising adventures to follow. I am a suspense / mystery junkie and I could not put this book down! Major themes centered on mystery, adventure, and gameplay in a sense.There are many characters in the story, but the important ones get the right treatment and character graph. The village backdrop helps build the right atmosphere and thrill for the story.Pick this one if you like to read thrillers with unique story.

Book is very interesting ... it is a good adventure mystery .... every one will really enjoy reading this book.
