Kids love them and so do parents!
My kids range from 2-9 years old and this is one of the things they all enjoy playing with. Honestly, I enjoy playing with them too! This is a nice 62 piece starter set for the current price of $19.99. There are more pricey alternatives on the market, but these are just as good. This is my go-to for gift-giving for kids between the ages of 2-9.

Well made. My 4 year old nephew loves these! Can create lots of different shapes & structures.
I gave this set of magnetic tiles to my 4 year old nephew for his birthday, and he was enamored as soon as he opened the box, ignoring the gifts from other people. LOL. I think the magnetic effect along with the contracting colors is the key to keeping a kid fascinated with playing with these tiles. The package contains plenty of tiles to build lots of different shapes and structures.
