Hotop12 Pack Bike Puncture Repair Patches Self Adhesive Kit

The patches don't stick and the surface scraping unit did nothing at all to the inner tubes surface wasted 2 patches seeing if it was doing something so fine I couldn't see it, I wound up using sandpaper for the 3rd and 4th attempt its simple the glue is rubbish the patches wont seal a hole so small I cant see it but the air pressure as you pump up the tyre pushes the patch straight off, my advice to anyone looking at this is simple save your time and money go get something else!.

The instructions are bad, but you can get past that. It's not rocket science and we've all repaired punctures before. I could forgive them for that. But the product itself is next to useless. It's so bad that for a second I thought it was a scam (it's not). I have a very small puncture, not significant at all, but the adhesive fails to give the patch any form of strength against the smallest of airflows. I tried it once and the air escaped. So I tried it again and it broke through again. So the next time I applied two patches and tried to overlap them. It still didn't work. In addition, the patches lack any kind of 'flexibility' or stretch. I applied the patch, pumped up, and the tube was practically buckling around the edges. If someone knows the magic touch then please tell me, but I have been riding for over 20 years and this is one of the worst kits I have seen.

Never used self sticking patches so i thought id give them a try.I have to say after 3 attempts ive given up and gone back to old fashioned glue.three times i have tried these patches. Following the instructions rough up the surface, clean then apply . Wait for a while , i was in no hurry so a few hours passed But then they just unpeeled.maybe a bad batch but to me cheaper to buy a new innertube

Bought these used 6 patches only one worked 🙄 I’m 50 years old and changed plenty in my time these are rubbish ! Look the part but that’s has far has it went , my sons bike has had the tyre of more times than I’ve had hot diners 😳 only thing I can think is the adhesive is old and I was unlucky to get that packet ?

After wasting my time using 4 patches on the small hole I gave up and went back to using a normal patch and glue. The hole was tiny from a thorn and despite following the instructions to the letter the tyre went down, the patch simply falls of when you inflate the tube. An absolute waste of time and money.

Did not work as so many others suggested. Ensured that the tube was refitted before inflation and failed to work. Purchased some repair glue and used the patches, worked well. Don’t know why they don’t supply glue as the patches by themselves clearly do not work.
