So glad they still make them
It may be better to download CDs to an MP3 player via computer but if you like a talking book or a self hypnosis CD like I do, then this is the best way. I had a more expensive version before but it just stopped working and this one does the job just as well.Is it me or do the batteries run out very fast? But anyway, it's cheap, cheerful and works.

Cheap and Cheerful
Cheap and cheerful. This does exactly what it claims. It's a stand on a secure surface and don't touch whilst it's playing. The instructions warn you not to use it on the move. Played through an audio system or good quality head/ear-phones, the sound is good and as far as my ageing ears hear could well be the claimed 20-20000KHz. The earphones supplied are not good and I threw them away. It's of light construction that doesn't feel solid. With this player you get what you pay for. If you want something better, then you will have to pay more. For what I want it for, it's good value for money. For listening to classical orchestras etc with the machine on my lap, whilst sitting in an easy-chair, I have an expensive Sony Walkman.

I highly recommend it
I highly recommend it. They don't tell you this but it's external power supply is the same voltage as USB so no need for mains or 12 volt adapters just use USB power supply with suitable plug.I made one up for convenience with one from Maplin. However using AA batteries lasts well,About 20 CDs.It jumps when moved but that's to be expected.I use mine in my caravan fed into a car radio.

You can see what a good customer I am
This is the reason none of the other things you questioned me about have no value.. The CD player has no ports to connect the bluetooth receiver/transmitter and or the power input supply. Thee items meant to be used together but unfortunately none works. I am in the US. These things were gifts to a friend in Edinburgh at the Edinburgh Music Making Initiative and were intended to have her use them in the process of teaching music. I would have returned them but she has no car and your wharehouse seems to be in some remote section of Edinburgh where the busses don't run. Maybe you could have a technician call her at 7580259447 and advise her how to get the three items to work. You can see what a good customer I am. I use Amazon for everything. I have been bragging to my friend how great you are and recommending she get her friends to use Amazon.. I have been watching your UK development and the same in Australia where I also fund the account of another friend who lives in New Zealand and purchases books and audible books.Thank you for your query.Sorry the reviews could not be better. My friend is technically challenged which may have something to due with the resultBest regards Chet Walsh.

Good all round basic portable, just not brilliant for the car...
This is okay, but don't expect superb performance. It does seem to skip quite regularly when driving over the odd lump or bump in the road, and can be a bit frustrating, but then what should one expect from the price. Overall, good quality sound, functional, and good value, but if you are deciding to buy it for the car, beware of frustrating sk-sk-skipping and ju-j-jumping along the way. It was placed in a tight compartment, but still skipped.I will probably save my money and replace it with one with a built in anti-jog system.

Satisfied customer.
Thanks for the very prompt delivery. I also enjoy the CD player very much it is one of the best personal CD player I ever own. I use it battery operated and it gives a good life on two AA batteries. No wonder it is a bestseller for it really is a good value for money.

Okay price but not very good Walkman!
I don't often give low reviews but this Walkman was disappointingly rubbish - whenever you slightly knock it against something, the CD stops for a second. Only the earphones which came with the Walkman seem to work in it, which is a shame as they're actually quite painful! It does the job, but not very well. Still, I suppose it was an okay price.

Not pleased with that
Wot the ell !!! . . I paid £24 for these on this site in late February. Wish I had gone to Specsavers . . the price now is £18 . . quite a reduction. Not pleased with that . . the rogues. The actual worst part of the deal was the stereo earphones . . . they are just too big for my ears so they are B . . . u.s.Had to go into PC World and buy a fresh pair that had varying ear plus to guarantee a good fit. They cost £6.Think carefully about these points before you buy. Good idea to go into PC world to see the item first.
