Great product
Very sturdy, easy to assemble and looks good. Cat LOVES it and sits in it every day looking out the window.

the cat enjoys both the sun spot, and looking out the window. very happy that Junie June uses it

There are better options
To start, this was delivered a day late, which is only mildly annoying in comparison to the rest of this review. When I unboxed it, I noticed the base had a 2x3inch section that was either not treated properly or sanded properly, because the wood was chipping or flaking off. I had some fabric that I used to cover the top of the base before assembling so that my cat didn't get a splinter from the flakes of wood. It was easy to assemble as a whole, only took a few minutes. After assembling it, I realized it doesn't have the little strap that attaches to the wall for stabilization. The little perches that act like a ladder to the top bed are pretty narrow, my larger 15lb boy has a really difficult time navigating up and down, so much so that the entire cat tree wobbles and nearly tips over trying to leap from the tallest perch to the bed. I've had to catch him from falling a few times and I've only had this for a few days. Quite frankly, I used a gift card to buy it so the fact that it was free was probably the only positive thing, otherwise I would have returned it. I'm honestly considering disassembling it and returning it anyway, because it's not being used and seems like a safety hazard

Very sturdy, updated
Update: neither of my cats care for the tree or use it, it's been weeks and it still looks brand new. One of my cats is 11 years old but she randomly does Olympics three times a day where she leaps as high as possible on the door molding and the other is 6 years old and scared of everything but the blanket monster, so it's hard to say it's due to poor activity on the cats end. They both prefer to either lounge on the corner cat bed they have or the window perch bed and for scratching they both prefer the cardboard scratcher they have.Super easy to set up and even comes with the one tool you need. The instructions are self explanatory, it will take time for the cats to try it out and all so I'm not 100% if they like it yet. Otherwise, it is a decent and sturdy cat tree, the scratching post will help since they enjoy having scratchers and it'll give the others a break. The bedding provided isn't the softest, but we put the one little bed in there for extra cushion and a blanket since my cats are a little spoiled with bedding.

Place this in front of a glass sider and let your kitty lounge the day away!
This scratcher post/bedding lounger gets great use sitting in front of my french doors. My kitties use it every single day, lounging and watching the world go by. I've had it 2 years now and everything is still all intact--nothing has fallen apart or come undone on it! That's a huge, especially since it is used by 3 cats daily!

Excellent Large Cat Tree, Fits My 20lb Cat, Minor Fixes Would Push It To 5 Stars
I am very impressed with the strength, stability, and size of this cat tree. Good materials, simple to put together even for a Grandma with arthritis. It's also versatile with where you want to position the lower shelves as the scratch posts are varying sizes and interchangeable, and the lower shelves can swing around and tightened in different directions. The instructions that came with it were very helpful.I have 2 rescues: a 9-month old 8lb kitten who likes to flop & stretch, and a 5-yr old 20lb cat (not fat but BIG) who is too large for most cat toys and accessories so I have to get him dog things most of the time. I've always been a dog person but last year I lost my dog and am left with being a cat lady. Weird.Anyway, I love this thing. So do the cats. There are only 2 things the company could do to make this perfect and longer-lasting: First, if the plywood were sealed or painted, that would make a huge difference. Second, there are no washers for the bottom bolts. That would add to longevity and stability. Luckily, these are things I can add myself from home, but if they made those 2 changes this would be the ultimate winner. The lower shelves and the top surface have the scratchy half of velcro strips stapled on to keep the fabric cushions in place. The cushions themselves have no velcro at all, but they stay put just fine with just their material. No problems when they need washing. After 2 weeks of constant use by 2 cats, the cushions have not moved at all, which is a pleasant surprise.[SEE PHOTOS] - I was able to hang a couple of cat toys I already had from the velcro strips under the cushions. This was to entice them onto their strange new furniture. But I didn't have to do that; they instinctively figured it all out themselves. Also, those velcro strips on a lower shelf turned out to be the perfect place to hide the hex tool for when the bolts need occasional tightening. Also in the photos, you can see how some of the wood was chipped where the holes were pre-drilled. I covered those with masking tape & poked a hole in it before screwing in the bolts. That will help guard against further chipping while helping to secure the bolts.Again, I'm very happy with this, and would recommend it to everyone -- especially if you have a big cat like I do, or multiple cats who like to cuddle up together. I hope what I've said here helps. If you have any questions, please ask, and I'll do my best to answer with my experience.

A nice, tall cat tree for your climbers!
6 indoor cats - some of them are real climbers and are only happy when they are perched up high. This is the one they choose :-)These are some fat cats, so it holds up to the extra tonnage with ease. Feels like it will last a long while!
