I've purchased these pins based on reviews and photos provided by previous buyers.I did receive 50 pins, BUT quality is totally different. End of the pins I received have been just cut off so it pulls hair when I try to spin in. See attached image.Very disappointing.

I’ve bought these spin pin in store before and I’ve loved them. Using these pins, they don’t hurt my hair unlike the traditional elastics.I like that I was able to buy them in bulk. There’s one pouch with 5 pack of 10 spin pins which is convenient. Now I can have one pack(10 spin pins) on my night stand, one pack in the bathroom, and one pack in the car. And 2 more pack left as back up.I’ve posted a photo of the original ones I got form store (left) beside these one that I got in bulk(right). I actually like the ones in bulk that it’s a little short since I do not have a lot of hair and my bun is tiny anyways but I’m sure people that have more hair wouldn’t have any difficulties with a shorter length.

I've been looking for the least damaging way to keep my extra-long (literally 4ft or more) hair up and out of the way. Hair ties break the hair, as do scrunchies, though to a lesser degree. Standard claw clips won't hold and "octopus" claw clips still slide or break under so much strain (even the biggest ones). Standard bobby pins work but eventually go loose, and some fall out.... And, of course, there's the bobby pin gremlins that take the pins away 1 or 2 at a time while the humans sleep causing the number to slowly dwindle from the 20 required to hold to 4 which doesn't do any good at all. Then there's my lovely little "screw pins"..... One of my all time favorite things. They never slip and never fall. They never break and cause very little damage if any at all. I can use 1\3 to 1\2 the number and they still hold more securely and more comfortably than anything else I've ever used! The. Best. Thing. Ever.

Don’t expect these to be comparable to Goody. These are about 3/4 of an inch shorter, which makes them less effective at holding hair up. I don’t have particularly long or thick hair. Three of these pins couldn’t neartly hold my hair in a bun whereas 2 was sufficient with Goody. However, for the price, they are a solid backup and could supplement.

They are a bit smaller than the name brand spin pin which I like as I used to have extra pin showing out my bun. These work great for my thin hair. Hold nice. My daughter uses two as she had very thing heavy hair and they work perfectly for her. She likes to make two little top buns and they are small enough to not show through the hair. They hold up well throughout her dance class. Great buy you get so many and we are notorious for losing spin pins. I will reorder if and when I lose them all lol

My daughters have extremely long THICK hair. I have NEVER been able to keep it up in buns. Halfway through the day (or sooner!) it's always falling down! This product does the trick when nothing else ever has! I will never use anything else again!1 star - awful! Want my money back!2 stars - bad but not horrendous3 stars - decent/good4 stars - really good!5 stars - great! Definitely recommend!

Works great buuuuutt the color comes off. I got black things on the tips of my finger, then realized it was coming off the metal. Another complaint is the ends of the pin where the bubble is supposed to protect you from getting scratched, catches hair and pulls on it when you’re taking the pin off. That hurts! Good for price, yeah. Usable, yeah, if you think the problems are minimal. Will I buy it again, no. Not worth the hassle.

I am required by my hospitality job to wear a slick tight bun every day. With these pins I can create this look in seconds! I have not tried to make different hair styles, but by pulling my hair tight and twisting it and then securing it with the pins my bun will stay from 10 am to midnight! I have midback length hair and use three/four pins for my bun. Having so many in one order allows me to have them in every bag, purse, and crevasse ever. They are fraction of the cost of those similarly sold in drugstores, but these are more flexible. I find they are less painful and easier to use because of the flexibility. If you need to have an easy way for a tight bun, this is your solution.
