Amazing amp! Topping is the GOAT for the price!
Amazing amp! Reference-Grade Control, Effortless Power, and Dead-Silent Performance. Remote control, Volume know has a very satisfying click for each db change. The Topping L70 IMHO is a stellar piece of gear that punches far above its price class. Build quality is first-rate — solid chassis, precise controls, and a layout that feels engineered rather than just assembled. Sonically, it’s exceptional: a dead-silent noise floor, excellent channel balance, and abundant clean power that drives even high-impedance headphones with authority. It sounds magical with my Beyerdynamic DT 1770 Pro MKIIs. The presentation is transparent and dynamic, with superb imaging and detail retrieval that let the DAC’s character shine through uncolored. With balanced and single-ended inputs, multiple gain stages, and outstanding measured performance, the L70 is an end-game quality preamp/headphone amp. Highly recommended for anyone chasing true reference-grade sound without the boutique price tag. Next step The E70 Velvet!

Not adequate for my setup with two flaws
I thought this amp would have enough power for my Audeze LCD-S20. I was wrong. I then encountered a known flaw with Topping amps that affects planar headphones with low impedance and high sensitivity. The amp will go into safe mode and cut out audio when the volume is turned up beyond the 70 range. Topping tried to address this with a firmware update but this didn’t fix the problem. I returned the L70 and tried the A70 Pro and ran into the same problem. No issues with dynamic headp.

State of the art performance, my daily driver in a stable of DACs
I have half a dozen DACs at any given time, but this is my permanent keeper. Amir at Audiosciencereview did measurements and it's flawless. I use an optical USB cable into it with an adapter and performance did improve slightly. The 9028Pro is a proven design and it fits on most of my amplifiers easily (if it's a hot one like the SMSL H300 I put it on a slotted 15" monitor riser for cooling). I'm using it tonight to compare the Topping A70Pro and the Singxer SA-1V2 that came in this week. I like the crisp display, and the new firmware added DPLL settings for adjusting optical connections for best performance. This is a huge help if you're connecting a TV or other device like that. This is one of those things they're not going to improve on since it's hit the limit of human hearing, perfect is perfect. My daily driver is the Topping A70Pro and E70 9028Pro and I buy $7k a month of audio equipment and have my choice of anything on the market. I did tests with the E70 Velvet and D70Pro Octo and Sabre in the same room over days with volume matching, and there's no way you'll hear the difference between them. Grab one and never upgrade your DAC again. Pair it with an A70Pro and you're never going to hear anything better.

Amazing Headphone Amp
This is a fantastic amp. I originally had issues with an Smsl c200 I purchased producing clicks/pops on my MacBook (this is apparently an issue with some Smsl products and other dacs with xmos chips through usb). So instead I got this and just used my MacBook’s internal dac, with a 3.5mm to rca cable. The sound is clean and there is a lot of headroom for eq. I don’t have any headphones that are difficult to drive but I have many iems, and sensitive headphones that still sound clear in low gain mode. I had a lot of noise running 3.5mm to xlr from my windows pc, so I ended up using an ikko itx-01 I had laying around. This unfortunately introduced a ground loop, but the ground loop switch eliminated nearly all noise. This feature alone makes the L70 a notch above its competitors. There is also a 12v trigger, which I have yet to use, but a very cool feature to automatically power the device on. I don’t really need the E70, but I like the convenience and aesthetics of having matching Dac amps. But for now, running from both my MacBook’s 3.5mm and an external dongle on my PC, this amp is amazing. I will stick with topping for dac/amps from this point forward.

Perfect for active speakers and multiple headphones
I have a background in electrical and audio engineering, and previously used the Topping DX7 Pro for a few years which I used to drive a 2.1 active speakers+subwoofer setup, as well as headphones and IEMs (its biggest flaw, albeit small is the high output impedance on the headphone amp which can affect the frequency response of low impedance headphones). I had intentionally picked the DX7 at the time because it was an all-in-one integrated DAC+amp, but more recently, I purchased a MiniDSP Flex to use as a DAC with the benefit of getting Dirac room correction (which gives a better resulting sound than I can ever get playing around with just PEQs in REW and Peace in Windows). So now I was in the market for a headphone amp and speaker pre-amp. Enter the Topping L70. The Topping L70 lets me keep the single-ended 6.35mm, and differential/balanced 4.4mm and XLR headphone plugs that the DX7 had, while acting as a pre-amp to my active speaker setup connected over XLR (the subwoofer is directly connected to the Flex, only the bookshelf speakers get passed through the L70 as a pre-amp). With the newer features this offers (improved HPamp which provides more than enough power with >120dB SINAD on both the balanced and unbalanced plugs, volume memory, up to 21bits of dynamic range resolution to take advantage of 24bit audio), I would consider the L70 endgame material that can be paired up with any discrete DAC of your choosing, especially at its price point.

After recently delving into the world of open back headphones, and picking up a portable DAC / headphone amp for my phone, I wanted to use my new cans listening to my hifi. However my hifi amp doesn’t actually have a headphone jack. So I had to listen through the headphone out of my old minidisc deck. So I decided to look into a dedicated headphone amp for my hifi. I didn’t need a Dac as I already have told trust Dac-R, so I was looong for purely a headphone amp, with balanced outputs, ideally with a remote, and no DAC. Oh and that sounded amazing. I settled on the Topping L70 as had all the features I need and also had some great reviews. So I bought blind! And I am so pleased I did. This amp sounds absolutely stunning with my Meze 109s. I have never described an amp as ‘smooth’ sounding, but this combo is amazing. Everything sounds just so damned brilliant, but without harshness, without too much of anything. This my description - Smooth. I listen to everything from DnB to guitar rock to classic piano etc. and so far everything g I have thrown at it sound fabulous, except…… Low quality Or poorly mastered tracks are notably poor. Feed this amp and headphone combo quality recordings and it will not disappoint. Oh and for anyone interested, i connect the headphone amp via analogue rca line puts from the ‘record out link’ RCA’s on my Rega Elicit R.

Using Motu m2 as a DAC connected to L70 with Balanced cables (TRS-XLR) I've been using my Edition XS for a couple months with the motu M2 but when I was trying to go Loud the sound would start distorting because the motu couldn't provide enough CLEAN power. Sufficient to say that with the topping L70 I have gone to unbearable listening levels while testing and i have not heard a single hint of noise or distortion either through my speakers (edifier 1700bt -> RCA) or my headphones (Edition XS -> 4.4) While my goal was to just solve the distortion issue on high volumes and didn't expect any difference in sound quality, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the sound got both a little bit warmer and the whole presentation I could best describe as seamless. Before I could occasionally find some harshness, which is not there anymore. I'm using LOW GAIN for all my devices, as the power is more than enough edition xs is set at -23 DB, but I've been A-B ing low and high gain setting to test, and there is no audible sound quality difference. The power delivery is just crazy strong. C1 profile I saved as my headphones C2 as speakers and with Middle Button both are playing at the same time the transition is instant and there is no delay between switching inputs. Oh and it also remembers the Volume/Gain setting for each input. I got it at 290 and if it stands the test of time I would say it's worth every euro but only time can tell. Highly recommended

初めはちゃんと電源が入っていたのですが、途中で『r5』のエラーコードが出て、その後0.003と表示されたまま使えなくなってしまいました。直す方法はあるのでしょうか?
