Useful if you do not want to store pots over the winter
I used these to grow some potatoes with variable results, it is important to ensure that there is sufficient soil in the bags to keep them upright all the time as otherwise the sides collapse and the poor plants do not get light. Overall I prefer growing in pots but these are lighter and easier to move around the garden, so there are positives too.

Very good except for the large holes
This are just the job re size - ability to move even when full and can be reused. The only downside is the pre made drainage holes (along the bottom third) - quite a few of the holes are the size of a 2p piece. So as you fill with soil, it comes out the holes and makes a mess on the patio. I had to line the bottom half of them with some netting I had. The holes at the side are okay as the bag opens up and the side bits sort of fold in and get squashed by the bottom, but it is the four holes along the main sides (which don't seem to be visible in the picture on Amazon). That aside, they are good, well worth using.

Excellent
Very strong bag, and is doing the job nicely.I did put a small amount of weedguard at the bottom, to stop the soil coming out of the drainage holes, whilst I was filling it, and this still allows the excess water to drain.I would recommend this product to anyone with limited space, who want to grow potoatos etc.Hopefully this product would be reusable, however if not, they were reasonably priced and would buy again.

Great price and they work what more can you ask.
Great product, great price. I have just used 8 of these polythene planters in two batches 24th march and the 8th April for organic potatoes and onions comparing with more expensive planter bags and plastic tubs of various shapes and size and to my surprise the onions and potatoes in these polythene planter bags showed through the soil first and continued to show the most growth. I have used no extra feed only watering regularly. No idea why this is so but I will be buying more of these and using the tubs for fruit or shrubs.

Bags for spuds/tomatoes. Good to go!
What can I say?Thick plastic potato growing bags/sacks. Drainage holes in the bottom and each one holds around 30 litres of compost/growth medium.I have three types of spud growing in these - Apache - Red Rooster - Isle of Jura. I also have tomatoes growing in a few of these in the growhouse.I'll post some photos with this review as they progress. But I will say I'm more than happy with the bags.

Not bad, but I use kid gloves with them.
I was a bit nervous when these arrived as they seem more like bin bags than woven patio bags/potato bags, but so far they've done admirably. I don't move them around on the patio, however, which may be extending their life considerably.

The potato bags seemed a good idea. So far so good the potatoes seem ...
After spending a lot of time last year digging out potatoes that had been left in the ground from the year before. The potato bags seemed a good idea. So far so good the potatoes seem to be growing well
