E10.1 16GB Android 6.0 Marshmallow Tablet PC 2GB RAM Quad Core 1200 x 800 IPS

I have been using Apple tablets and smart phones for several years now and wanted to investigate the Android world. I was attracted to this tablet by its modest price but very high specification including the latest Marshmallow OS, great screen resolution and the amount of storage. As there were several negative reviews, the bar to my expectations was not set very high but I was taken aback by the quality of the build and the smooth operation of this tablet. It is about the same size and weight as my iPad but a little thinner. It comes well packed and includes a pre-fitted screen saver, a simple but very adequate case, a charger cable, a data-transfer cable, headphones and a cable which connects the tablet to USB devices.The screen resolution was crisp and sharp with well balanced colours and showed HD movies on Netflix and YouTube just great. The screen resolution also allowed easy and clear reading of books on Kindle. All applications I tried to load through Google Play Store loaded without problems and ran first time and there was no problem keeping connection to WiFi over the 2 days I tested the device with download speeds being no problem. My email and favourite browser both worked without problems. In fact all in all everything worked extremely well. The only minor niggle was the tinny speaker but headphones improved sound quality dramatically. The tablet boots up quickly and the 2 GB internal memory means applications open smoothly with little lag. Although 16 GB of storage is a little sparse if you want to store movie files by carefully prising a flap off the back of the case there is access to a micro SD slot so extra storage is easy to add. My 32 GB card was recognised instantly. This is not an Apple product and it would be unfair to compare it to one but the build quality and performance at this price is superb. As an entry level device for a child or as a first tablet then at this price whats not to like! I would buy this again.

Short Version: The top rated review by Joel is 100% accurate, I'm just reinforcing what he said. This tablet is not a "Good one for $100", it is a FANTASTIC tablet that happens to be $100..Stop now if that's all you need to know. Read on if you want to know more about WHAT you will be getting / why THIS is the review you should read and not the others..... First, I need to clarify a few things here that people are leaving one stars for.1. people are saying the company is impossible to get in touch with... WRONG. I sent them an email and got a response in like 2 hours. Not only did they solve my problem (it wasn't even THEIR problem, it was Amazon recommending a case that didn't fit it), they went above and beyond and asked me if I was enjoying the tablet, gave me tips on how to make it more efficient, linked me to case that DOES fit (and note, this case COMES with a free case....), and just overall talked to me like I was a friend of theirs for 10 years, not someone who ordered one thing from them.2. People complain about the battery life...usually followed with the words "after 3 hours of gaming / watching videos)... Um, it's a 100$ tablet, what do you expect? PLUS I am a hardcore gamer / computer savvy person. I put this thing through every benchmark test I could and ran multiple games / watched tons of videos / basically TRIED TO KILL IT, and it just shrugged and said no problem. PLUS, the battery held up for about 4 hours before it reached the 20% "better charge limit).3. People are saying "It is what it is, a 100$ tablet". Well that is TECHNICALLY true, it is a $100 tablet. However, while doing my "Trying to kill it", i was also running the same stuff on my galaxy 6 and Asus T301 (two much higher priced tablets with similar specs)... The E10.1 outperformed them by MILES. Honesty, this is not only one of the best tablets / laptops / computers for the price I've bought in my life (and I've bought a LOT of electronics), this is one of the best I've ever bought despite the price. So, well if you are still reading this, whoever is complaining about not being able to contact the company, or the battery during gaming , or it's "just a 100$ tablet so what do you expect".... Expect a LOT MORE.. I mean the case it comes with for free is acceptable but not very study and the earbuds are the same (but again, FREE!). The cameras are actually better than you'd expect for a tablet of this price and the screen is ABSOLUTELY beautiful and vibrant with 170 deg viewing etc. The quad core processor and the 2gb of memory are Microtex and VERY high quality (probably 80% of the cost of building this tablet went into the screen / processor / memory.... and even then, these are the SAME processors/ memory that $500 tablets use.)..So as I stated at the beginning, quite simply if you are looking at this tablet, BUY IT. Customer service is fantastic, it performed better than my much pricier tablets, and the whole "just a $100 tablet what do you expect" is more like "This SHOULD cost $300-400 because it is just as good if not better than tablets in that price range". *NOTE* People might think I'm a company rep / whatever. I'm not... Google my name Kevin Ducharme and you will know all about me (I will be 4 of the top 5 results, seriously.... I also used to repair computers and do networking / security installation and probably came out of the womb holding a commodore Vic 20 (With a TAPE DECK!!! OMG LEET!). I have built my own computers / laptops / AND tablets throughout my life. I built my own "Echo" using spare parts from other stuff etc... Trust my word when I say that this tablet and company is just fantastic. Hope you enjoyed my wall of a review, but honestly, this tablet / company DESERVES to be known as "not just a cheap tablet with no customer service and a bad battery". It is anything BUT that. And I'll stop rambling now, hope you enjoyed my review (if you googled my name, you know I'm disabled and have a rare form of EOAD, so my memory and intellect are fine, it's my processing center that is off kilter, hence the rambling / repetition etc.... if I was to go back and try to edit this, I'd end up spending 4 hours on this review.

Had to redo my rating on this awful tablet ! I gave it 3 stars at first after having it for a couple of days I'm warning you it's a piece of junk the battery is absolutely defective it does not hold a charge with beans I mean I get less than 3 hours of tablet time and it takes forever to recharge the battery it's so funny while you're using a tablet you can watch the battery life gauge go down Bit by Bit by Bit really bad also the charging port for your USB cable is so flimsy that you have to be like a heart surgeon inserting the cable into the tablet charger port even if you're real careful inserting a cable into the charging port I doubt this thing would last a month if that the outer casing or Bill of the tablet is so freaking cheap that it's just a piece of junk I wish I was not have bought this tablet

Disappointed. Read the reviews and thought this one looked good. However would not work with Chrome or Amazon apps. The only browser that worked was the Chinese one it came with. Sent an email to their customer service and did a factory reset. It did not help. Best to pay more from a major mfg.

I was hesitant of the cost being too good to be true, but it's perfect for my uses. I need to be able to read PDF's and navigate through large documents quickly. I need to check social media for a group I admin. I have a few favorite apps that I needed to download and they all work with no problems whatsoever. I need to be able to call up hi-res images for demonstrations For these purposes this tablet excels. I was connected to my network within 10 minutes of opening the package. The fact it comes with a free case, all charging devices and a free 2-year warrantee is really great.I had purchased this for my daughter as a gift and after her glowing words I figured this is the one for me, and I was right!
