Limited Edition Husband

This is another phenomenal book by Lauren Blakely. She truly has become one of my favorite MM authors. She does a wonderful job of making me fall in love with these characters. What starts as a one-time thing between Nate and Hunter becomes more the second time they see each other thanks to very fun night in Vegas and they wake up married!!Given the fact that these two live on almost opposites sides of world and the social media frenzy over their marriage it’s a bit of wild ride for them. Nate and Hunter are drawn to each other unlike anyone else they’ve ever been attracted to so staying married doesn’t seem like a hardship.I loved their witty banter, their physical connection which makes their sexy times OOO LA LA HAF and how what starts as somewhat a little fake becomes love. Their growth throughout the story was a wonderful journey we’re taken on. Neither of them was looking for love either.Having Teddy Hamilton and James Joseph embody not only Nate and Hunter but all the secondary characters made this a listening palooza in my ears. I couldn’t get enough of this story. I laughed, I swooned and I fanned myself a LOT!!I understand this is the last MM book Ms. Blakely is releasing this year so we’re going out with a bang… so to speak LOL! If you’re a Lauren Blakely fan or a MM fan or both, like me, this is a definite must listen. I for one will be re-listening to this book again very very soon.

Nate's bruised and cynical since his divorce, but when he meets a gorgeous British businessman, and they end up in Vegas together, somehow a few drinks and their attraction equals them having to fake their way through their accidental marriage. How can the jaded football star and the guy who wants to explore and do EVERYTHING, make a relationship work, even a fake one? What happens when feelings are caught? Can they make long distance work?Hunter's all about exploring his new feelings and wants. A gorgeous football player will be just the person to allow him to explore all those things, though. IF he can keep his heart out of it, because this accidental marriage has to stay fake, for both their sakes. They can't possibly be real if Nate lives in San Francisco and Hunter is going back across the pond, can they?Hunter and Nate are so sweet and delicious together. This author writes some of my favorite MM fiction and it's because of guys like these. The contrast of Nate's bruised heart and Hunter's openness to everything makes for the kind of couple that keeps me reading. Their chemistry is WHEW, both men are sweethearts, and the banter and real emotion behind everything - 5 stars!

I just love this series! I'm a sucker for a meet-cute and honestly I love romance and these stories make my heart feel good. Nate and Hunter are so darn cute together and individually and I melt every time one of them shows an ounce of vulnerability. So good!

Lauren Blakely shows us what these two incredible men have together when they meet in the most unconventional of places.Nate Chandler a player for the San Francisco Hawks is still trying to get over the end of a disastrous marriage but putting the hurt aside he can’t help be drawn to the “English Cutie” Hunter Colburn.Hunter is trying to make a name for himself in the business and getting out from his father’s shadow, but he is also is finding out more about himself along the way and when he catches the eye of the gorgeous Nate things are about to take a interesting change.These two men are fantastic together, they playoff one another great and the chemistry is off the charts, but can they be what the other needs to have a HEA or do they just go on their separate ways I know I’m cheering them on because you can’t help wanting these two men to be together.

Is there a way to have an automatic rating of 5 apply to every Lauren Blakely book?? I feel like a broken record, but LB does it again!This charming story of “I really like you and want to spend glorious days and naughty nights with you” becomes a “Wait, what?! We’re married and have to stay married to avoid a PR nightmare?!” emotional rollercoaster for Nate and Hunter. Both are dealing with insecurities of not being enough from other relationships (and not necessarily romantic ones) and navigating demanding jobs that definitely throw some kinks in their plans to get kinky. Nate finally gets to feed Hunter’s “I’m up for anything” appetite in the bedroom, on the futon, in the shower, in the equipment room…you get the picture. Connection proves to be more than just attraction and these two have to get to their lightbulb moments to make it beyond the final whistle. Witty banter, flirting, raw emotions, and all around good feels are perpetual from start to finish with this one.

I am smitten with Nate and Hunter. I love the setup of this story with the hot beginning and then the time apart. The story flow was different, and I really enjoyed the progression. At first it felt like they stumbled into each other by chance, but as more and more things happened, it was apparent that their worlds were working to keep them together.Hunter and Nate are special. Some couples just hit different, and feel like goals. They are the dream couple, the ones who communicate, have fun, build the other up, have perfect chemistry, and belong together. Their challenges were due to circumstances not mistakes or missteps. I loved this about their relationship. Both men are book boyfriend perfection. I really loved this story and the way it made me feel. I wish I could keep reading about these two special characters!

3.5*Vastly better than the last two in the series but still not as good as book one.I liked this version of Nate and Hunter but I'm not sure why they got a re-write over the versions from the free Your Book Boyfriend's Boyfriend giveaway as that was a great short story that could have been built on.Either way, there's still some sloppy editing in this one, with the same or similar phrases being used sentences apart, thankfully we seem to have lost the "American man" and "London man" of the third book!There's plenty of instant attraction and sexual chemistry but it's sloppy fairly believable that thrse two could fall in love too.They talk a lot, have plenty in common and seem willing to make sacrifices and allowances for each other, which helps.We do get one moment of potential miscommunication but it's quickly resolved and there's no stupid dramady either.Definitely a return to the better story narrative of Jason and Beck's romance rather than the bitty or overly soap opera levels of books two and three.

This was fun. Nothing like drunk decisions and a challenge to make a person wake up the next morning and go WTF !!? Nate is still bitter from his disasterous marriage and is not interested in getting into another long term relationship - let alone another marriage. Hunter is looking to explore his baby bi-ness and is drawn to Nate immediately as his exploration buddy. A one and one seems like a do-able and fun solution, until it isnt. They live oceans apart, their jobs are on different continents and yet they are drawn to each other more strongly than the ocean that separates them. Read along as they figure it out - in every position imaginable - until they find the HEA. Another scorcher of a read with lovable characters from past books putting their two cents worth .

Limited Edition Husband can be read as a standalone. I did originally read the novella Top Notch Boyfriend about Nate and Hunter but as it says in the author’s note this a complete reimagining.Limited Edition Husband by Lauren Blakely was a dreamy, charismatic “top-notch” romantic addition to the Winner Takes All series. Who knew pie could be so sexy?Hunter is fun, adventurous, and the perfect match for Nate. Both heroes are utterly amazing.I love Lauren Blakely’s writing style; she is the only author where I always buy all her MM books on audible as well as the ebook. Teddy Hamilton (Nate) and James Joseph (Hunter) rock this audio in duet narration. Sexy, fun, real, sweet, and ELECTRIC with chemistry! James Joseph and Teddy Hamilton take you on the journey through the interest, the lust, the feels, the vulnerability, and the love these characters share to make something beautiful!I loved seeing the other couples: William and Christian, Jason and Beck, Zane and Maddox.I’m still smiling like a loon just thinking about this book, a week after finishing it. Limited Edition Husband is on my Best of 20223 list. I absolutely adored Limited Edition Husband by Lauren Blakely! This fake marriage MM romance had me hooked from the very first page. The chemistry between Hunter and Nate was electric and their banter was witty and charming.I love Lauren: her writing style is engaging and she has a talent for creating characters that you can't help but fall in love with. Nate is a sarcastic, romance-phobic football player who is struggling to move on from his past relationship. Hunter is a charming producer from the UK who is eager to experience new things.Their fake marriage was supposed to be a simple solution to a complicated problem, but it quickly turns into something much more. As they navigate the ups and downs of their relationship, they both start to realise that maybe what they thought they wanted isn't what they need.This book had it all - white-hot first times, dangerous decisions, and a heartwarming love story. I found myself laughing out loud at their antics and swooning at their romantic moments. I couldn't put it down! I am excited to listen to the audio book: Teddy Hamilton and my Favourite Brit James Joseph have been cast as Nate and Hunter and I can only imagine how epic their performances will be.If you're a fan of MM romance, fake marriage tropes, or just great storytelling in general, I highly recommend picking up Limited Edition Husband. It's a book that will leave you with a smile on your face and a warm feeling in your heart. Five limited edition stars all the way!

Gosh I love Hunter and Nate. Sure they get Vegas married in less than ideal circumstances but this "fake" marriage becomes less so very quickly and I was here for every minute. These two have chemistry off the charts and a story that was beautiful. I wasn't sure how Lauren would give these two a HEA since they live on two different continents but the ending surprised me in the best way and I loved it!! So good.
