I was concerned about the Velcro as I got this to replace a coat with shoddy Velcro but this is fantastic, it's only got one but of Velcro and an intact chest plate so the coat stays in place. Very happy with my purchase, I would absolutely recommend. Even has a slit in the top for a harness.It looks great, fits great. Muppet ignores it but no longer shivers on walks. My owner bought me an 18\" Waggles coat for the winter because I live in a country where large machines have to move lots of snow from December to March. This morning I was able to test run my new coat because we had snow last night. Brrrr the snow was cold and deep, up to my shoulders; but did I care? No! because my new fleecy Waggles coat kept my chest and back snug, warm and dry. The elasticated 'V' made it easy for my owner to place the coat over my head; the undercarriage section was not tight on my b-i-g chest, and the straps had plenty of overlap at my elegantly narrow waist. Even though I was excited about playing in the first snow of the season, my owner managed to put my back legs through the elastic loops, which didn't faze me at all and kept my coat in place. The elastic was not uncomfortable and didn't rub my baldy inner thighs. On my walk I gambolled through the snow and dashed through the undergrowth in the woods and, guess what? my coat didn't budge an inch. My owner says that ordering the coat through Amazon was easy-peasy, it arrived well packaged and on time, the size is perfect, and there is even some growing room for next year. Everyone said how beautiful I look in my new Waggles coat, and of course I agree with them. I look, 'absolutely fabulous dahling'.
