I was so excited to get this alarm clock for our boho safari nursery. I want something on theme and also a charging option. When this arrived it appeared cheap- but I got it on sale and it had a coupon so it was really affordable. When I took it out of the bag there was zero weight to it, very light. I quickly plugged it in and realized this thing was super complicated. You have to read the directions in order to understand how to set it. I ended up throwing some batteries in it because I refuse to mess with the timing again. Outside of that it was perfect. It charged my phone when placed on top and it even dims when it is not being used. You just have to tap it in order to see the time. I know that may be a turn off for some but in a nursery I actually prefer that. I highly recommend this product if you are willing and able to read every instruction and if you're okay with not seeing the time displayed without having to tap it. (Maybe it is a setting)
