Snugpak The Sleeping Bag (2010 edition)

Bought 3 of these for my kids to do 'dad's camp' which we have from April - October so can be quite cold overnight. They have a cotton inner so nice and soft and kids have never complained they are cold. I would say they are very bulky which is great for sleeping in but very difficult to get back into the stuff sack let alone compress. I wouldn't recommend carrying this in a backpack as its just too big but if you are camping with a vehicle you can't go wrong. Very good value

I used the sleeping bag in Iceland when the outside temperature was around 1-2C and the sleeping bag was warm and cosy. However, I did have to wear two layers of blouses and a hat to feel warm and there was one night with strong wind, when I felt a bit cold. I am not sure if it would be warm enough under 0 C.

It will not compress to 22cm, that's a big ass compact size right here.I was looking at a compact one to fit on my motorcycle, granted it's cheap, but hot damn, it's big.Besides that... It's really comfortable.

It was a really warm bag with lots of room, though the description saying it packed down to 20cm by 22cm is a bit far fetched. Even sitting on it to squash it down could not get it to that size. A bit disappointed as bought it for a trek in sahara desert and needed small bag to carry.

Used it on the West Highland Way while wild camping during April. Was nice and comfortable even during really cold, wet and rainy nights (about 1-2 degrees).

Served the purpose, although would have to be built like the Hulk to compress it to the dimensions stated plus the compression sack would need reinforcing too.

I wanted a sleeping bag with a squarer foot , this fitted the bill , inner lining is cotton which felt cosy , bag is nice and thick , not sure its a 3 season , only tried out during our recent hot spell in the welsh mountains , but it was warm enough , I just found it tight around the shoulder area , compression sack is plenty big enough to get bag back in , all in all I liked it

This was a good purchase my son loves it. I am very happy about this sleeping bag good quality great price. I would recommend this. We have used it in the house so far but I am sure it will be great on our next camping trip.
