It's very good size bin.

Love this huge but unobtrusive bin. Fits really well into the kitchen with silent close function so the kids are not constantly slamming the lid down and fits flush against the counter in a tidy corner. Pedal operation for keeping hands clean!

A great bin this, good quality build and not too big that it won't fit in those "bin spaces" we all have. Just remember it's a little wider (but thinner) than a normal bin and the capacity is plenty for household use.The pedal on the bottom of the bin feels sturdy and like it will take a battering so no worries there. Only thing is you can't easily open the bin without using the pedal, so siting of it needs to give that some consideration.All in all a good bit of kit, but expensive in reality...why are bins so expensive!?!

Big bin with the benefits of a big pedal, internal hinge and a quietly closing lid.The lid is about waist height (70cm) and a foot in depth (30cm), so it doesn't actually stick out that far. Being a big bin you will need a big bin liner. There is no inner bin to lift in and out. You just fix the bin liner to the top and two wrap around metal bars fix it in place.The pedal to open the bin is generous for big feet. No messing around with a small pedal.The internal hinge means that your wall will not be banged and the paint work messed up.The quiet lose system needs no explanation.Even though this may be sold as a commercial bin it is perfect for the kitchen where we seem to have the most rubbish to throw away. As long as you do not put smelly food into the bin it should be fine for a few weeks between changing.

Well made, sturdy, slim line and large. It is taller than your average kitchen swing bin so will need large bin liners. The pedal action is solid and it has a lovely closure mechanism.

This is a fantastically designed bin. I've got this in my utility room which is small and there's never been enough room for a bin until now.It is slim with a controlled lid close and my favourite part is that the hinge is on the inside so it can go flush against the wall and it doesn't knock against the wall either when opened with foot pedal.Great sized bin for smaller rooms, 50L is more than enough size to use as a secondary bin to our kitchen bin. I've had people comment already at how unobtrusive and how tightly it fits in the room - it's brilliant.Really well designed, I wish I'd known about this brand before!

This looks and feels like a commercial bin. Too tall to fit under kitchen units and use it has slotted nicely into the utility room.No removeable internal bucket sees u headfirst hanging over edge to wipe over. Have not been able to find generic bags so use strong bin liners from supermarket it offers a fair size of disposal though but try not to be tempted to overfill as the lid is flush to the top of the bag which can b messy plus bag can be overally heavy.Nice heavy duty pedal with soft close feature is nice and in our home an appreciated one.Price point together with look of bin gives me reason to downgrade star wise, I think it's expensive for the look of the bin. I would not recommend for kitchen use in a home, but nevertheless excellent addition to utility or garage, even studio or office space within the home.It's tall when closed so struggles to open under counter space but it's slim body enables u to slip it between things and it's flush to wall.Would I recommend yes I would, but be wary where u purchase it for

I got the tall slim jim and it fits great in my enclosed back porch where I kept my old bin. This fits the space better and because the whole lid lifts it is so much easier to use with the foot pedal operation. The lid closes so quietly I don't have to be quiet at night using it as my other clanged and would wake the grandson.It has 2 metal arms inside that lift really easy to place a black bag in and push them back down to hold it in place. The foot pedal is nice and big so even the big footed wouldn't find a problem using it. The lid comes up pretty fast but lowers slow and quiet. The width is a lovely size and the depth is quite small, looking from above it is a rectangle shape. It is so easy to wipe clean, no ridges where food etc can get trapped and fester.Made from top quality plastic, almost rubber but not quite. The design is great, the mechanism is great, even the size and shape is great, the only niggle is the price, do I think it is worth this amount, no I don't. But then if this lasts for years and years and still looks good and works well and you never have to buy another bin, then it might be worth it.
