Love this camera!
We have the split screen one to be able to watch both kids and have not had any issues at all. Yes the sound lags just a little bit, but picture is clear and battery lasts a long time! It’s hard to find a good split screen camera without having to connect the internet, which we didn’t want for hacking reasons. I think people need to lower their expectations with this camera compared to the way more expensive cameras that have to be connected to WiFi.

DOES NOT LINK TO LEAPFROG APP!!! Amazon reviews and online specs say it should but it does not!!!

Great Split Screen Monitor Option
We started looking for a monitor that would allow us to see both of our daughters’ rooms without having to toggle between pages and stumbled upon this Leapfrog one. It has a great clear picture for both cameras and the nightlight is a great addition. The battery life seems average- nothing to write home about. We’ve had no issues with connectivity in our average size home. We wish we would have just bought this system when we had our first, knowing we’d have a second eventually rather than spend $150 on a one camera system that requires a $100 additional camera and doesn’t show both cameras on the screen. This is definitely a high quality monitor at a great price if you need to be able to see two babies at once.

Battery Lasts FOREVER!!!
This monitor has it's pros and cons but the battery life absolutely makes up for the cons. I took my monitor off the charger around 7:30PM. I forgot to plug it back in so it was on ALL night until my youngest woke up around 8:30AM. I turned it on again for their 2.5 hour nap and then again when they went to bed around 8PM. It wasn't until 1AM I got the alert that the battery was low. THAT'S A 19.5 HOUR BATTERY LIFE (if my math is mathing right...)! Definitely THE longest lasting baby monitor battery ever. I've Tried Baby Sense, Infant Optics, Summer Infant, Etc., all only lasting ~3hrs MAX.Pros:GREAT battery. ObviouslyHigh quality pictureSplit screen optionCons:Kind of laggy in generalExtremely laggy when on split screen displayThe lowest sound setting is too loud and the highest sound setting isn't quite loud enoughI WILL SAY, my children are now 3 and 5 so I don't rely on them as much as I did when they were infants. For infants, I 100% recommend the Infant Optics DXR-8 PRO. VERY reliable, clear and not laggy... but you WILL be charging often.I would NOT recommend Baby Sense. Their customer service is great, however, I went through FOUR monitors. They all had amazing display but would only last 1-3 weeks before shutting off and never turning back on.That is all. :)

Better for older kids, not babies
Let me start off by saying I have used 3 different brands of baby monitors, and of those three I guess this would rank 2nd.Pros:The picture is clearIt has night lights in different colors you can control with the monitorIt has motion activation and noise activationIt has sounds you can turn on and off with the monitorIt has the split screen, which is the entire reason I bought it for my 5 month old and 21 month oldCons:Basically only one but it is a deal breaker for me.YOU CANNOT SEE THEM BREATHINGno matter how hard I tried to see if my 21 month old was breathing, I couldn't. I would have to go into her room and check, which defeats the purpose of the monitors completely! If that is something that doesn't bother you, then go for it! The monitor is great other than that.As for me I will stick with my Infant Optics DRX8 PRO. You can easily see them breathing, and it has ANR (active noise reduction). So when I have her sound machine on, I cannot hear it through the monitor. So I can clearly hear her when she talks to me, or cries! The only reason I tried switching to the Leap Frog, was so I didn't have to flip the screen back and forth as Infant Optics does not allow for split screen. However, I would rather flip them than not see them breathing!

Great monitor!
This monitor is amazing. Crystal clear picture. I love that night vision can be in color. Sometimes I wonder if I forgot to turn off the light. The 2 camera set up is nice! Sound is picked up very well. Very sensitive microphone! We've had 3 or 4 infant optics and a Motorola over the last 11 years and 5 kids. This one beats them all by a long shot. The only thing I don't like is a 1 second or so lag in sound and video. I hear the sound baby makes then I hear it in the monitor a second later. Not a huge deal, just kind of annoying at times.

10000% the best monitor
I have tried 3 other baby monitor brands and there was always something about them that I just didn't love, until I found this one. This checks literally ALL of the boxes! Amazing video quality, sound quality, added features, etc. I can't rave about it enough. It's also the best I've found at hearing my little ones cries on top of the very loud sound machine. Night vision is great, everything about it is customizable.. I could go on forever. Battery lasts sooo long, especially in dim mode.BUY IT!!! THIS IS THE ONE!!

Really bad
I purchased this monitor because of the wide angle shot, remote pan and tilt and split screen function. The wide angle was incredible and I could remotely move the camera which was great. But in 1 night of use there was so much else wrong with it that I packed it up and returned it the next day. The sound delay was at least 5 seconds. There was a very noticeable lag when viewing one camera. In the split screen view it was less of a lag and just still pictures of my baby every 2 seconds. On top of that the night light just came on randomly all night no matter how many times I turned it off. It was a waste of time to buy this monitor. I went with another one that does not have the wide angle I wanted but is not glitchy and has the basic functionality of a monitor!
