I got this 8 inch lid for my Henckels H3 stainless steel fry pan. It fits the 8" pan pretty well, with a little leeway, but still a good fit. It only took about 5 minutes to put the handle on, most of the time spent rounding up a socket and screwdriver. It seems to be high quality, and it looks good too. I'm pleased with it overall. I want to add that there's a very good review here I read after I put the lid together, so I took it apart and did it again. I didn't realize the little rubbery washers were supposed to go all the way through the lid and have the slightly smaller lip on the top. When I did this I could see how much better the fit was. I think installing this rubber washer correctly will cut down on needing to tighten the screws so often. My handle is as tight as the first day I put it on.

I bought this as a replacement for a nice Wolfgang Puck 12” pan. It fits very nicely. Easy assembly and cleaning.

It’s a nice glass top. I like to be able to see through when I’m cooking and you can put it right in the dishwasher, works great with my iron skillet so the grease is not splattering all over the place.

Very good product but not perfect. If you happen to buy a frying pan or pot that does not come with a glass lid, this is a good solution. The user has to install the handle, which is easy and saves shipping space. It is glass so you can see what is cooking and It has a vent hole to keep it from rising on a pot of boiling water. The only problem is the fit. If you don't buy a lid made for the pot or pan, you find different ideas of size. Is it 12" to the inner or outer edge of the pot, or lid? This does not impact its functionality, it fits well but not perfectly. I would buy it again if I had a pan without a lid, but I would rather buy a pan with a matching lid.

We got these because our preferred skillet set does not come with lids. These are great. Solid construction and I like the steam vent. The lid fits perfectly with our skillet so there is a good seal when cooking. Clean like a dream.

It’s inconvenient to add just one more thing to my to-do list. As if I don’t have enough on my list and now add tightening the screw every few weeks to the list. I have to get my screw driver and tighten the screw on this lid. But it also doesn’t full cover a perfectly fine pan. Lid is the correct size but probably made sloppily. It should fit but disappointed that it doesn’t. This is just another one of those unlucky situations where I’m adding yet another imperfect item to my drawers. There are now a bunch of less- than- excellent items ordered from Amazon.com sitting in my drawers. They get used, but they will probably get tossed out soon as cheaper and cheaper materials and less-than- good products get into the online marketplace.

This is a true 12-inch lid, but with larger-than-necessary tolerances, such that shifting it to one side slightly exposes the pan on the opposite side. This suits me. If you have different criteria, measure your pan carefully and look for a lid with tighter tolerances. Very good value for the price.

It's the perfect size. Fills the gap in my life sizes. I am able to get more use out of my all-clad pan.
