Do not buy this. Really poor quality and when I’ve removed from my car. It’s marked the whole car and going to cost me £200 for a deep polish.

INITIAL REVIEWFrustratingly, I have had this cover for just over a month (so cannot return it) and it has just become windy, so I decided to fasten the under-car straps.The bayonet clips, on both the straps, are completely ineffective. The male part slides into the female part, but does not click into place and can very easily be pulled back out again. The clips are completely ineffective, so the cover cannot be secured in place.The problem is exacerbated by the fact that straps are not long enough to easily tie in place instead, thus rendering the car-cover pretty useless for winter months.It's not a bad cover otherwise, but this is a major defect.FOLLOW UP (AFTER 4 MONTHS OWNERSHIP)I'm afraid that this cover has to be downgraded further.One of the straps has come away from the material completely, rendering it even more useless than previously described. The material itself has torn in medium strength winds, and indeed when pulling the material across a car (as you have to do frequently, because the straps do not hold it in place) it is disturbingly easy for a finger or thumb to simply punch through it.This cover is simply not fit for purpose and does not function adequately as described. AVOID!

I got this for my car for winter some time ago. It worked well to begin with but broke later down the line. It also used to not fare well if it was windy and came off on areas. My car is also on air suspension so it sits on the floor near enough entirely and tucking it under the arches, front bumper etc, it still generally came off. I used it regularly so may be better on cars if you are leaving them. Quality I hope has changed by now.

I recently bought 2 of these covers - mainly to try to avoid or at least reduce the time consuming and infuriating job of scraping ice from the windows of our cars at this time of year. I read other reviews before deciding to buy this product and although some described the product as 'flimsy' I thought it was worth a go at the price.The order arrived very quickly and we are absolutely delighted with these covers. They are much stronger than I expected and do a fabulous job of keeping our cars frost free. As I type, a Matiz and a Renault Scenic are sitting on our driveway snuggled underneath their covers, the temperature is due to drop to minus 4 tonight and we are confident that in the morning all we'll have to do is whip off the covers and away we go.They are easy to fit and the elasticated corners make them feel reasonably secure (it hasn't been very windy since we started using them, so I can't comment on how well they'll stay on if it is). Although it is easier with two people, I can comfortably get the covers onto the cars on my own (I'm female, 5ft 4ins and of slight build)- admittedly the Scenic takes a bit longer as the car is tall and the cover is massive, but still only 5 mins max.It's a bit like hauling in a parachute when pulling the cover off (and there's no way we can get them back in the bags...) but well worth the effort.At the price I would definitely recommend this product and I have just ordered another one for my Dad!

This cover is thin and easily ripped if windy not enough tie straps although stated waterproof if it rains heavily its not. Also be weary it can damage paintwork on older cars that are painted with cellulose as it did with my car

The package says 'Guaranteed forever'. I don't have time to logon to their web site and give my life history, so I won't bother.I bought this cover as a temporary measure, because my 05 Vectra hatch is letting in rain water through the heater matrix. I have carried out one repair and I have another to do but I can't do it for about 6 weeks, so I bought a cover.When I opened the package, there were (razor type) cuts in the fabric going through 2-3 layers (so I took off one star).I bought the one for a 'large' car. It doesn't completely cover my Vauxhall Vectra (so I took off one star).I put the cover over the car but it wouldn't cover it completely. I lifted up the rear section and gently pulled down at the front and my fingers went through the material (so I took off one star).If you want something temporary (as I do), then it will just about do as a temporary measure for a short while. But if you want something substantial that will last 'forever' - forget it. When I fix the leak, the cover will go in the bin.

I hate winter taking it's toll on my car, so I decided to cover it this winter. There are a lot of really expensive car covers out there but this is the cheapest around, however with that said it's remarkably good quality. The cover fits my Audi perfectly and it doesn't look too baggy unlike many other car covers I have seen. While it's not perfect it's certainly kept the weather off my paintwork, kept my car dry and frost free. It was a great purchase and has made this winter a lot more bearable, especially with early morning starts in the frost. At this price I can't really complain if it only lasts a few more months but I suspect this will last a couple years if well cared for.
