The Wiz Viz Tail Streamer - Hi Viz - Fluorescent - Original Product from Horse and Rider Safety - Be Seen, Be Safe.

So my husband did not know about this purchase and he just shook his head and said he didn’t want to be seen out with us, however I on the other hand love this, I admit with a tail swishing, highly spooky mare it was a risky purchase, the first outing lasted 10 minutes before the streamers slid down her tail, after some desensitisation-work first and I braced myself for the I told you so comments, I had the hair grippers in as recommended and it did seem to be very well fixed but wasn’t a match for said spooky dragon but my god did it look good being swished around for all traffic to see, I was not to be perturbed, Mrs dragon swisher was not getting away so lightly especially when she looked so amazing in her bling, so we upped the anti! This time we threaded some hair through the band as had been recommended, added a very untidy plait as I can’t plait for toffee used a band and hid it under the streamers of wonder, my world has now changed, several outing later no matter how big a swish these streamers are here to stay! Love them and the tail swishing dragon has now resigned herself to her new extensions, the traffic spot her much easier though with her tendency to throw a fit on the road she really does make a show of herself now for all to see, thank you love this product x

I have really been surprised and delighted at how well the WizViz has worked. Being totally fed up with drivers, bikers, etc passing me and my horse too fast/ too close I wanted something which might make us even more visible to add to all the HiViz stuff we normally wear. Well, the tail streamer really does the job I can tell you! I got one in mixed orange and yellow, and I love the way it shimmies around as we walk and trot along and it's even better when there is a bit of a breeze, it blows around in the air.I can hear vehicles in the distance behind us really slowing down, far more than ever before and also not the sudden screeching of brakes we don't want to hear, just a gradual 'What is this ahead?' type of slowing. On a couple of occasions, just after I had gone round a corner I heard a car coming fast behind, the moment we all dread, but we were obviously spotted very quickly as although the braking was sudden, it was not screechy/skiddy as I've heard before. And they do give us a wider berth.When attaching the WizViz, it comes with clear and very helpful, thoughtful instructions on how to get your horse used to wearing it (wasn't a problem at all actually), presumably in case the fluttering might be a distraction. It also came with 2 hair grips, a genius idea, as it just helps that little bit more to secure it from slipping down the tail.All in all, I can recommend this product very highly indeed, I feel a lot safer and I'm delighted with it.

The delivery was faster than they said and the product is great.They include a very detailed instruction sheet and also some Kirby grips which I found really helpful. The visibility of this hi viz tail streamer is great as it is but obviously in the wind that increases a lot.I will definitely use this company agsin.

The grips can only. Be used a few Times better also if velcro was further round but on the whole very good

Great product. Would look better if the band that goes round the tail bone was the same colour as the reflective strands

Great hi viz accessories for horse. Not quite as easy to attach as I thought it would be, I now plait it into the top of the tail for extra hold. But really bright and horse didn’t mind it in the slightest.

Great for days when too warm for wearing a fluorescent rug. I use on both my horses (not at the same time obs!), but my mare who has melanomas under her tail I take off the band that goes around and under the tail so as not to irritate the melanomas and just attach the strips directly to her tail. With my other horse I use the tail band as directed. Works well on both. If I happen to be riding out with someone with both my horses I put it on the tail of the slowest horse, but maybe I should buy a second one for them each to wear one?!

I find this tail streamer hard to keep on my mares full tail, am sure im going to lose it when out hacking, but it is highly visible and she doesn't seem to mind it.
