CapezioWomen's Team Basic Brief, Black, Small

Ok here’s my two cents on this. A lot of reviews said to size up... but in the fit averages quite a few said fit as expected.. soooooo I went a head and got my regular size, medium, since a don't have a lot of legs and I’m losing weight. I am 5’5” about 135 lbs size 6-8, carry my weight in my belly ☹️. Well they fit, but as others mentioned the leg holes are VERY tight!! I didn’t think this would be a problem for me cause I don’t have a lot of hips but they make this unnatural looking crease where the elastic is so tight... see photos. After wearing them for a while they’re a tad bit uncomfortable so with both factors combined I’m gonna try a large. Otherwise I am super impressed with them! The fabric is very thick, makes me feel comfortable and super good coverage!! Like you cannot see my undies at ALL peeking out which I’m surprised at... apologies for the somewhat inappropriate photos but I was just that excited! 😆 No matter what I do with my legs there is coverage!!!

I have ordered these twice costumes (nude and black). I am 5-2, athletic build, about 114, and on the short-waisted side. I don't have a classic (small waist with bigger hips) which make buying traditional women's sizes hit or miss, but I am more the type of build that appreciates a low rise jean to a high waist one, and can rock a pair of 501 jeans in a 27 waist in boys/mens better than most-That said, i listened to one reviewer and order a size up (med) and was happy with the fit. I don't like stuff that squeezes my short waist AT All! so a med. eliminated that problem and because these are really stretchy the extra room for a bigger bottom didn't affect the fit on my more athletic build. These a pics from my Halloween costume. I have been very happy with my purchases and I hope my review helps someone out there.

I was really hoping to like these. First, don't get them in white. They are extremely (if not completely) see through. Second, if you have any body fat this will squeeze around and make your perfectly fine (beautiful) body look something like the tied up balloon animal that the clown at your birthday party gave you when you were 6 years old. And third it will take away any resemblance of a booty that you may have. Sadly I do not have time to return them and get a replacement because I have an upcoming performance. I do not recommend these, I am a small (5"4, 118 lb) a I got them in a Medium.

I don't know why I didn't listen to my instincts and size up, because these XS were too tight and cut into my daughter's legs and waist. She wears an adult small in the Capezio shorts, and I think a small would be good in these as well. The fabric is the same high quality, thick material that the shorts are made of, and she would have felt comfortable changing costumes in the typical dance zero-privacy "dressing room" with these underneath. However, I'm giving up and just returning them because the Capezio clear-strap bra that we got to go with them doesn't work at all, and, if you're thinking about buying the briefs and a the bra also, just know that they are NOT the same color nude. The bra is a much lighter and cooler shade than the briefs, which seem to be their "light suntan" color.

These are very unflattering. I bought them for a Halloween costume and even sized up. Unfortunately, the leg holes were too small, even when I got a larger size. I'm 5'8" and138 lbs., typically a size 00-0, so these should have fit just fine.

The fabric is very nice, but I have purchased several sizes. I am an adult 5’ 6” slender my weight is 109lbs. The leg opening is much to tight I have slender hips and thighs and they are tight around the leg opening. For this design flaw it makes the dance briefs unflattering cutting across the upper thigh.I would suggest getting a size up although the leg opening still has an unusual thought fit. Capezio has been in business for more then 50 years you would think they would fix this.

I am 5'3", 120lbs, and the M was a perfect fit. There is no ride-up with these, and they stay put through lifts, turns, layouts, etc. There's some slight compression, and some show-through of elastic lines, but tolerable.

I bought this for my daughter to wear for cheer. They got perfectly, are good quality material, and stay in place we'll. They hold up well to washing in the washing machine, though I do hang them up to dry with her uniform.

Even those these pants come up slightly small in my opinion (unless I've put on weight), the quality is very very good. Strong material and well made. Ideal for working out at home (!!) or as part of a uniform.

A very good fitting brief and good quality.

Sizing was more in the range of children's small , not adult sizing.The quality and finish of the garment was good.

i originally bought the small based on the fact im rly tiny, but the leg holes were too tight so i sized up to medium and they fit perfect. the leg holes are supposed to be a bit tight cos its dancewear so they dont move when u dance and stuff. im an xs in american eagle leggings for reference and medium is perfect for me. def recommend these for safety shorts under short skirts and dresses

I'm very happy with these briefs. The fabric is of top quality. It doesn't change colour from sweat, and is stretchy and comfortable.
