Love Bic
Bic offers so many products. I am satisfied with these markers. Would buy again. These are not the type of markers for kids. The tip is a little on the delicate side. If you were press down to hard, the tip would not last long.

Bic markers are great but....
I love (d) these markers until I discovered that they bleed through most paper. I have several journals and planners which I needed these for. They bled through the pages in all of them. I'm sure, however, there will be some paper that it won't bleed through.

Nice colors
These felt pens are the 6 basic pastel colors with the blue being aqua. I tested them on three different colors of paper. On black they don't show up at all, tan they show up but not with clear colors. They look a bit muddy. In my white/cream swatch book, the colors show themselves very well and are bright and clear.I keep an assortment of different pens and pencils by where I sit in the living room so that when inspiration strikes and I want to do whatever. The majority of my art supplies reside in my craft room, but with many days that I can barely walk I try to be prepared so that I always have something I can do so that I am never bored. I know that some people with chronic illnesses become couch potatoes, that isn't my life style at all. I had to make decisions about what would be with me in the living room and what will stay in the craft room and these Bic pens made the cut for the living room. Bic is a brand that has never let me down when it comes to usability and length of life for their pens. Some other pens that I have gotten, from the first time I swatched them and then wanting to use them, I found some of them had already dried out in just a couple of months. These Bic pens are just as juicy now as the day I got them 4 months ago (somehow I had missed writing their review).I appreciate the opportunity to try these pens out. Thank you.

Great for Me - a non-bullet journaling, non-calligraphy writing person
I'm not in the traditional market for brush pens. I just like using them to doodle while I am working - I work from home, and sometimes I just need to take a few minutes to refresh my brain, so I doodle... especially if it's a boring training session!I have a swatch pic included so you can get an idea of the line types and color. I wouldn't say they are true to color on the caps, I found them to be a little more vibrant and pigmented for a water-based pastel color - the only real shocking colors being the blue not being the baby blue (but my favorite blue) and the yellow isn't a pale buttercup either. The brush tips are more flexible than other brands and don't go back to the starting point. The fine tip is very firm with no give, but you can adjust your line width depending on pressure. For me, these are great for creating abstract doodles. They may or may not be perfect for you depending on your preferences.

Good pastel brush pens
These are good quality brush pens. The pastel colors are nice - only the green fine tip is a little too pale for my taste. The fine tip will allow you to make very fine lines if you use a light touch, and medium fine with normal pressure. The heavier tip has a nice variable stroke - good for calligraphy. The tips seem tough, holding up to moderately heavy pressure with no pilling on the paper and no fuzz on the tip. There's no bleed through on even cheap thin sketch paper unless you really over apply the color which can lead to blotchiness, but even then the bleed through is visual - it doesn't saturate to the next page in the sketchbook. If you're careful when opening the package, it makes a good case., and the price is comparable to other brands. I would like to try more of the BIC Intensity pens to see if they're as good, but these are definitely worth considering.
