Hotties Microwave hot water bottle - Cuddly Warm Sheep Sherpa (Grey)

Unfortunately I left my old hot water bottle with water in it, for rather a long time, and what ended up coming out of it was rather unpleasant. Into the bin and I looked online for a replacement, settling on this brand. It is great - occupies the same sort of space as a hot water bottle but is filled with, erm, stuff. You pop it in the microwave for 2.5 minutes and are good to go. It stays warm for a long while and of course is quick to re-heat whenever you want to do so. Unlike a hot water bottle it doesn't shift around, as it is not full of fluid, and it doesn't have that solid stopper that a liquid-filled bottle has. This has let me lie on it comfortably, which has helped with gym aches and pains in my shoulders. Sure it is a little more expensive than a traditional hot water bottle but for me it is worth the outlay.

Soothing and comforting, and cute, with no risk of the hot water bottle leaking and soaking the bed!! . Honestly, I'd recommend these hotties to anyone who feels the cold or has arthritis pains.

I had one with lavender seed in it once it dried out you couldn’t use it in the microwave without it smelling burning. This one is perfect. It’s in water but it’s totally guaranteed sealed bag. Two minutes and it stays warm for a long time.

It was firmer than I'd thought it would be, and a little of a snug fit in my 800w microwave at first; I find that 1minute and 30 seconds is enough heating time, too hot for me otherwise, and it does hold heat for quite a while.

Must have product in your house. We have 2 of these and they are perfect to place in your bed or put under your nanny blanket if on the sofa. Quick and easy to use, just pop in the microwave and Zap. The beauty of this product is that it allows the warmth to flow out without burning you, and keeps you nice and warm for hours on end.

Only had this since May and it's already leaking...Poor Quality! Response from seller... "If your microwave oven is small--17 litre or less--or your turntable is less than 25 cm diameter or rotation of the pack is impeded in any way, you should not use that microwave to heat your Hottie in the normal way. It is possible to gently roll your thermal pack and secure with an elastic band. Some customers have found this satisfactory in smaller microwaves. From March 1st 2011, we will no longer replace free of charge thermal packs which show this type of damage. We thank the many loyal customers whose feedback has helped us identify the cause of this problem. We are working to produce a thermal pack which will both fit smaller microwave ovens and maintain the high standards of warmth, comfort and safety our customers have come to expect from Hotties. Warning: Do not overheat. Warming this product to high temperatures beyond instructions can lead to the leakage of hot and hazardous liquid. If your microwave oven has a capacity of 17 litres or smaller, with a chamber dimension width that prevents the Hottie rotating freely, this product will not be suitable." I cannot see anything on the original seller's page ref m/wave size,etc...No mention of a replacement or a refund for item bearing in mind it's just lasting over a month! I do not recommend this product OR this Seller! This is a standard reply to a item that leaks just after a month of use ...It leads me to believe this is very common place!
