Sweeter than expected
Good taste and easy prep. Flavour was a lot sweeter than expected, but would happily buy again.

Can't tell which one I'm reviewing here the title only says EXPEDITION FOODS
The sweet and sour has great taste. Its very durable packaging. Easy to prepare. Not to much volume in the tummy to continue on my hike

Interesting
I had this on my d of e trip but the taste was a bit pinapply. I read the ingredients and it had pinapple. I could not finish it. But its my fault for not reading the ingredients first. I was a bit surprised because normally pineapple isn't in sweet and sour chicken but its ok

33g of Saturated fat !?
33g of Saturated fat. Tasted pretty good (I took 30 days worth of freeze-dried food with me) this tasted the best, but unacceptable levels of saturated fat, just to bulk out the calories... the other thing about high levels of fat is that they move through your body quickly, so whilst I was full when I initially ate it, I was soon hungry again, irrespective of the flavour. Sadly I will be looking elsewhere until they improve their ingredients.

Disgusting
Far too sweet, made me sick. It ended in the bin.

Of course they contain fat and sugar
Reviewers here seem to not realise these are meals for expeditions. Read the packet duh. How else to replace X,000 calories in a just add water format ????? It doesn't matter how much sugar or saturated fats you eat when you are climbing mountains 12 hours a day.
