I’ve tried a wide range of dishwasher detergents in my search for truly clean, spotless dishes — pods, liquid, and powder. Even with pre-scrubbing, I was often disappointed. Dishes would come out cloudy, have a strange taste, or be covered in water spots. At the same time, I made a personal decision to stop using products with artificial dyes, fragrances, and harsher chemicals in my home, which narrowed my options even further. I decided to try Molly’s Suds unscented dishwasher pods, and I’ve been very happy with them. My dishes now come out clean and clear, with no residue, no water spots, and no off taste. Everything looks and feels genuinely clean, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. For context: I’m on well water, don’t use any rinse aids or additional dishwasher products, and my dishwasher is a fairly average, mid-range model. Knowing all that, I’ve been impressed with how consistently well these pods perform. These do a great job on my dishes, silverware, ceramic mugs and glasses. I never need to run a pre-rinse cycle or a heated dry cycle. I am so glad I switched to these after reading the exposé on a famous green box product‘s unhealthy, albeit unseen residues. I knew we deserved a safer product for my family and pets. This did the trick in spades.

I have a new Samsung dishwasher around 1100.00 unit. 2026 purchase. Smell from inside happened very soon after getting it. We use it every night. Cascade liquid has been used as I never gave it much thought before. I will never go back to Cascade. I am only 2 loads in but I truly think the glassware is cleaner and sparkles a little more. New glass ware as well from a remodel we just did in 2025. I opened up the dishwasher during the wash just to see and I don't know but what it really was with Cascade I think it was way more fresh smell and more cleaning power like suds in the bottom tank. I also bought the Laundry detergent at the same time. 1 load in will write on that later after several loads. Good Job and affordable in my opinion.

The citric scent is very mild and almost neutral. It doesn’t leave any artificial fragrance on dishes or utensils. I also haven’t noticed any white residue or cloudy film on glasses, which has been an issue for me with other brands. As a small downside, very greasy or heavily soiled items sometimes need to be pre-rinsed or washed on a longer cycle to get the best results. It’s not a major issue, but worth mentioning. I waited three months to review these. They work! I used to use Cascade pods, but I have been trying to make healthy swaps whenever possible with my household items (food, cleaning, skincare, etc.), and I heard about these. I was extremely skeptical. I am happy to say that I have noticed no difference in cleaning power. These even handle when I cook tortellini (which gets cheese stuck!) in my stainless steel pasta pot. I have ditched all my old pods and plan to use these only moving forward. I like that these are fragrance free. I have heard that people with better palates than mine (sommeliers, etc.) can tell the difference between dishes cleaned with cascade type detergents (with lemon scent, fresh scent, etc.) and dishes cleaned fragrance free. It makes sense to remove the scent and only be eating your actual food. I'm just glad I can do it without any extra scrubbing on my part! Love these and will be using them only from now on.

Finally found the best dishwasher pod! My dishes come out clean. There is no powder residue left in the cup or in the bottom of the dishwasher. And it has no harmful chemicals in it. If you haven’t purchased these yet, I highly recommend them.

An amazing product. Happy I purchased this. It leaves baby bottles and teats sparkling clean unlike other products that I have used that leave a film on the bottle teats.

I've been using these for a couple of weeks now, no complaints. They perform just as well as the large corporate brands, without the harmful chemicals.
