Simple Wealth
After reading this book it was definitely helpful as I am a college student about to enter the work force. Nick Murray gives helpful advice in which helped me figure out which way I wanted to invest. The book is not your typical investment book, it is easy to understand and easy to read. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants some kind of guidance on how to invest to read this book as it influenced the way I invest.

Love this book and I'm tired of some of the reviewers saying how basic it is. Mr Murray gives you the blue print how to achieve wealth and to avoid things(bonds) that other so called experts will tell you that will slow down your future wealth. If you can read one book on how to retire secure than this is it. "Is it possible that,in the future, return relationships will be very different from what they've been in the past. It doesn't seem probable . And reasonable probability, based on a searching analysis of the past,is about all we've got to go on." That paragraph is worth the price of the book and more so.

Worth reading
Very good information to become a well disciplined investor. If youโre into day trading the book wonโt resonate well with your approach, but if youโre a long term investment type itโs worth reading. The book was a little bit on the expensive side (reason for the one star downgrade) but very informative

Book delivered on time in excellent, like-new condition!
Seller shipped book out immediately, and it arrived on time and in excellent condition. I've only read a third of the book so far, but it is easy to read and a good starter book on understanding investing with mutual funds.

Great advice! Wish I had read it years ago
Great advice! Wish I had read it years ago. I especially like that it recommends stocks, not bonds for the long haul. If one is investing over 30 or so years, he will historically get a lot more return out of stocks with no bond portion. Only needs a bit of updating - I don't think advisors would use 6% withdrawal figure these days, probably 4% at best.

reading this book: 10000% worth it
This book is amazing, simplifying "what real risk isn't" and "what real risk is", and placing the onus much more on investor behavior than on various investment products. Having this basic knowledge, and the resulting change in behavior patterns and peace of mind is worth potentially a million times the sticker price of this book.

ultimate book for the capital market investors.

Volume estremamente interessante e sempre attuale. Peccato per la pessima impaginazione della versione Kindle che rende il testo veramente difficile da leggere

Simple wealth, Inevitable wealth is the perfect book for the investor who knows they should invest for their future but doesn't know how. The book details the average gains of bonds and stocks over the years and states that stocks are the way to true wealth. The book strongly suggests finding an advisor who meets with your approval and will agree to invest in the manner the book suggests. The author is also adamant that the advisor's key role is to keep you focussed during the ups and especially the downs of investing. Another section describes the need for a lifelong adherence to dollar cost averaging, saving a proscribed amount each month to meet your goal at retirement. The book, written in 1999, and updated twice has previous editions available through Amazon's used books or the best is to get the 2013 edition with its extra 50 pages and a discussion of the 2008 crash direct from the author through his website nickmurray.com. Try to get it mailed rather than UPS as it will avoid brokerage costs. This book should be required reading as part of the ongoing education in investing by everyone. If the education system especially here in Ontario were doing their job it would be part of curriculum. The 173 pages in the 1999 edition are an easy read with an important message to start young, invest all your life and don't worry about the dips that will happen along the way. The market has always come back from those dips. Any down time is merely an opportunity to buy more stock. This is an incredible gift to anyone who intends to retire at some point in their life. Yes, that covers just about everyone!
