If you think that you can't sing, try this.
I am an acoustic guitar player in my 60's. After jamming with a friend who is a real pro performer, last year, I decided (after he stuck a mic in my face) to buy a microphone and give singing a try, after a lifetime of telling myself that it wouldn't be possible. I bought a Boss VE-2 vocal pedal. I achieved enough progress that family and friends thought that I was on to something, and should keep going. The pedal was fine. Lots of features. Maybe too adjustable. But the only pedal I knew.I recently bought the Harmony Singer 2 just to try. I received it yesterday. I played around with it for a couple of hours. It is by far the better choice for me. More straight forward. The harmonies sound more natural. The vocals in general have a little more power and are much clearer than the Boss pedal. Less feedback issues. This is a great value. Takes less space on my pedalboard. Buy it!I now believe that any musician should at least give singing a real shot. Go onto your favorite guitar chord web site. Transpose the song closer to your vocal key. Don't be afraid to use a capo when needed. Give yourself at least several months to see if there is a spark there. This pedal with a quality XLR mic and an acoustic guitar might take you farther than you imagined. It's not auto tune. This is really fun and I'm excited to play more now, than ever. Singing has made me a better player. IMO a vocal pedal is a must to get you started.

Great vocal pedal for the price!
I love the simplicity and big fat sound it gives my voice for live performances. The reverb is great, and the harmonies are wonderful. It fits perfectly on my pedalboard, so that's a bonus. Price, size simplicity, and sound = 5 stars.

Love It
I bought from Bailey Brothers Music, 3rd party. It came in ,2 days. No directions or manual & no power cord. There is a picture on back of HS2 box showing the connection. I had to buy a XLR cord to go from Out on HS2 to in on mixing board. Your microphone plugs into the HS2 also. Then your guitar plugs in to HS2 with 1/4" cord & other end to guitar. You also need 1 more 1/4" patch cord from HS2 to mixer. So, 4 cords coming out of HS2. I bought a separate 9 Volt power cord for $7.00 & it all works great. You can find several videos on U-Tube to see it's attributes before buying. It is the coolest device, especially if you're a solo act. It harmonizes to everything you sing, unless you turn that off. I haven't figured out how to use my harmonica with it, unless I turn off Harmony every single time i do harmonica riff; the harmonica produces loud high feedback for some reason. There are multiple degrees of Harmony in it that matches your voice. Unbelievable. Treat yourself to this toy!

A great addition- sounds great
I do a solo gig and this allows me to have pretty convincing harmony - opening the door for me to perform a number of songs I'd not been able to do before. Very happy with ease of set-up and use. Only complaint is it eats batteries so I bought AC adapter and problem solved- very happy with this pedal (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09C81QCB8?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

BEWARE - NO repair option for TC Helicon Harmony Singer
All that's needed to fix my device is a footswitch...My hardly ever used TC HELICON HARMONY SINGER was returned last week after languishing in one of the 5 (now 4) authorized repair facilities for nearly one year. ONE YEAR. A company called MUSIC TRIBE is supposed to provide the part and TC HELICON like MUSIC TRIBE is opaque, impossible to communicate with and 3 of the 4 remaining authorized repair facilities I contacted were dubious they could help for this simple repair for which I had the part number. One authorized repair person in particular lamented that my situation was the norm and NOT the exception in dealing with TC HELICON & MUSIC TRIBE repairs and parts. I approached a number of local NYC pedal repair persons and none could assist. TC HELICON & MUSIC TRIBE are clearly avoiding their responsibility in assisting their customers so please know that before you purchase their products/services.

Great quality, easy to use
This stomp box is great and a lot of fun to use. The vocal effect is good and so is the reverb. The harmony function has several different settings and easy to understand.

Exactly what I was looking for. - UPDATE 8-8-19 Unusable now. UPDATE 6-25-21 Working great again!
The media could not be loaded. LATEST UPDATE: 6-25-21. It's been working great again for about a year. Not sure what caused the problems earlier, but it could have been something I did. Just not sure. But, loving it again now ;)UPDATE: After using this successfully for a few months, I can no longer use it. The Harmonies are all over the place and it sounds really bad now.I stopped using it and started looking into what the issue is. Evidently, it is a common one. They even suggest a "Firmware Update" to try and resolve it. Haven't done it yet, but when I get some time I will attempt it. I've heard that it helps and then hear it doesn't help. So we'll see. I liked it when it worked. But, if it stops working, what's the point? It's now useless. I'll try and remember to update this when/if I update the firmware....which I gotta figure out how to do.ORIGINAL POST: I play in a duo, but we're not the best on harmonies. Decided to try this out and it seems to work pretty well. I'll attach a very short clip. I fingerpick this song, but notice before I click the Harmony Singer, I strum a full chord. It seems to follow chords better than fingerpicking. I've also got the settings turned up a little more than usual, so you can really hear the Harmony Singer. It can be a lot more subtle. On this one I have 2 harmonies instead of one. I think a 3rd and 5th above what I'm singing. Hope this helps. - SF
